River Tay rapids at Grantully. This is a longer view of the rapids the 1st photo for this square covers. Taken at the end of November, so-one was foolish/brave enough to be on the river. Grantully, by the way, should not, traditionally, have a D in it, but the map-makers (as so often, certainly in Scotland) got it wrong and the mistake stuck.

Check-in went well, staff helpful and friendly. Dead insect on window sill, but room appeared to be tidy, maybe empty for a while. Room has suitable, amenities, but dressing table mirror is too low to use, maybe a lower seat? One thing that was an issue was the heating, too warm even with radiators ...

Room was very clean , friendly staff. Buffet breakfast was excellent . Only small complaint was no biscuits in room to go with coffee. Not a big issue but nice wee touch.. Would definitely book again but I’ll bring some biscuits with me next time.
