Unfortunately the bathroom situation was not as advertised and property not suitable for our needs some TLC and cleaning needed great for the dog surroundings very green no air conditioning working so Jacques provided a fan only one television worked we left 4 days early but jacques was kind to offer us 500 euros refund.

Absolutely Perfect
My stay at the "Honey Pie" in Grandcamp Maisy was absolutely perfect in every way. Jacques is the perfect host and his home the "Honey-Pie" has everything you could possibly for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. His home has everything, sport equipment, bikes, games, movies, and it all situated in a peaceful private park right near the center of town. There are restaurants, a grocery store, and gas station nearby and it is the perfect location for exploring the Normandy attractions, towns, and beautiful countryside. "Honey-Pie" will make you feel at home the minute you walk through the door and it is the perfect place to relax after a full day of exploring everything Normandy has to offer. On my next trip to Normandy I will definitely place to stay at Jacques' perfect home called "Honey-Pie". The name alone describes this place perfectly! It exceeded my expectations made my vacation truly memorable. Thank you both so much Jacques and Genevieve!

Lovely stay in Grandcamp Maisy
Beautifully located property in a very peaceful and well looked after park. Property used to be a Pool House next to what once was a swimming pool. Jacques was very helpful before our arrival recommending vets in Isigny to use as we had brought our dog along with us (exceptional service at the vets). He also met us on our arrival and then took us to Honey Pie for a tour. The property does have everything you need however needs some tlc, new glasses, mugs etc and a very thorough clean. Tennis court and table tennis table were a hit with our family. Garden fully enclosed which is great if you have a dog! Bikes are unfortunately unusable as have flat tyres and need a good service. Grandcamp Maisy was very quiet. We had good trips to the local Battery. The staff at Tourist Office were very helpful! We hired paddle boards from Ecole de Voile Cap 21, very friendly staff, helpful and well priced. Daily fish market and markets on a Sunday and Wednesday were good! Pizza from Pizzeria Brasserie was a tasty treat and the local Carrefour had everything you needed. We visited the D-Day Experience and enjoyed the 3D cinema and flight simulator. A trip to Mont St Michel was well worth it! Breathtaking place, go early / late though as gets so very crowded. €15 to park all day, you can walk or catch a free shuttle bus from the car park. We had a super day out to the Normandie Luge / Skypark. A super dooper day out that kept our 14 and 15 year olds happy on the Luge, Zip Wires etc. Kayaking on the River Orne with Pont D’ouilly Lesours was well worth a trip too and we topped off our trip jet skiing with Cabourg jet who we would highly recommend too. If you are coming to Normandy for WWII activities, this is the perfect location. It's centrally located between just about everything. If you have kids or dogs it is awesome.

One week at Grandcamp-Maisy
Lovely stay at Grandcamp-Maisy. Perfect for 2 people (and 2 small dogs) - but could easily accommodate a family or 2 couples. The location is perfect for visiting the D-day beaches. What we were not expecting was to fall in love with the region: besides the obvious and very moving historical interest - the beaches and countryside are really lovely. We had a major complication getting to Normandy and arrived one day late. We were warmly welcomed by Jacques and offered an extra night - he and Genevieve went the extra mile. The house was comfortable and had all we needed and we felt very much at home. The weather was an extra bonus. We can recommend the Honey Pot and Grandcamp! (Forgot to mention: 2 absolutely superb sea-food restaurants in the village - and the daily fish market.)

Fantastic stay in a lovely house
This was the first time ever we rented a house and we will for sure come back to HoneyPie! Everything we needed (and more) was there, the house is very comfortable! We travelled with 2 dogs, and the enclosed garden was very much appreciated. The house is located in a fantastic park, and within walking distance to both the little fishing-town, the beach and the supermarket and restaurants. Absolutely recommendable!

Honey Pie
A very nice house that has everything you need. It sits in a beautiful park with lots of space, plush grass and large trees. It is a 10 minute walk to the Grandcamp-maisy port. It was just the vacation we were hoping for.
