"Room wasn’t ready until nearly 2 hours after check in time. No real good place to hang out in lobby. We asked about the conference room that wasn’t being used. Front desk told us no but then bartender opened it up for us."

"OMG THIS WAS WORST PLACE THAT I EVER TRAVELED TO.. Very dirty, no toilet paper in room or towels, bed sheets were bloody, and when i said something respond was "they were washed so that clean". Place stink like sour and staff very unprofessional. When i asked for simple toilet paper i received respond:we are out and if you want to complain about anything else you can leave. My dad and i were traveling from las vegaas to East coast so we eneded up leaving at 11pm because we could not stand the smell. and also when we tuned shower on water was brown for about 10 min and when we asked hotel staff respond was "thats normal just wait 10-15 min and than it will stop but keep the water running in mean time. "

"My favorite place to stay in Des Moines! Rooms are always soo clean, the service is top notch, the restaurant is delicious and so close to many restaurants and cocktail bars. It’s truly the best! "

"Everything was great except when I was checking in and the desk guy said I was declined but then gave me the 3 room cards and said he would figure it out. It was a little embarrassing especially after I got an email saying enjoy your stay."

"Stayed overnight for a work/charity event. Everything was very nice! The only thing that was kind of a bummer was tv selection but oh well. The kitchen/bar staff was great because there was a creeper talking to me and my co-workers and when we finally left the bartender made sure the creeper didn't follow us."
