We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Train House. The antiques and vintage decor was a delightful touch that added to the charm and comfort of our stay. The house was clean, tidy and well stocked with all the essentials along with some additional treats. We would stay at the train house again for sure.

House was great for what we needed while in GJ for a state swim meet. Close to CMU, quiet inside, cool and clean. Queen mattress was terrible but other three beds were fine.

Great Place / SUPER-HOST!!
My wife and I recently stayed at The Train House, a great experience, great central place / base for all of our adventures in and around Grand Junction. Super-quiet neighborhood & close to downtown area with shops & restaurants, 20 min to Palisade, 20 min to Fruita, approx 50 min to Grand Mesa. We did need to contact our host for one small minor thing, & she is or should be a SUPER-HOST, so so nice & request was taken care of quick same day!! We loved sitting on the back deck in the mornings & evenings, & plan to be back in Grand Junction again. We'll definately stay here again!! Thanks again to our host!

Great Prooperty
We stayed here with our family. Grand Junction is a great town. We hiked and rode mountain bikes. The house was great. Lots of charm. The shed for storing bikes was especially useful.

What a fun find!!!!
From our first contact with Diana to see if we could get in a little early (which she arranged) to a lovely jar of homemade salsa with chips on arrival, this beautiful antique home is full of history and character!! The furnishings and decor are so comfortable but the antiques and original kitchen and kitchen table transport you back in time!!! So amazing and fun!! Location is great and host is tops!!! Highly recommend this incredible VRBO!!! You will love it!!!

Cute house in Grand Junction
Well appointed, cute, nostalgic house with all the things to make our stay comfortable. While it was just two of us, this house could handle several more comfortably. Great owner-made salsa too! Super home base for surrounding National Parks, Grand Mesa, hiking, biking, fishing! Very close to CMU as well. We will be back!

From the owners: Hi Jon, I'm like you, I'd rather ride a bike to a town or take the car but there are people who enjoy the walk and I guess that's good. Great Family Stay
We really enjoyed our time at the train house. It was comfortable and welcoming! There were lots of supplies at hand. The owner even left us a basket with delicious homemade Salsa and chips. There were also bikes in the shed that were fun to ride around the neighborhood. I would definitely recommend staying in this cute house. Thanks for everything!

We loved the house, just right for us. Enjoyed the back patio, the rooms, and the cleanliness. All around a great place to stay and the owner Dianna was very nice and concerned that we had a great experience in her home. The Lopez family loved it!

Whatever you might need is provided
We enjoyed coming home each evening to the interesting older home "Train House". It was the perfect spot for exploring the Colorado Monument Nat. Park as well as Black Canyon of the Gunnison Nat. Park. Found a wonderful winery in Palisade with live music and lots of spots downtown less than a mile from our door. The house was well outfitted with anything we could have wanted and everything was easy. We loved the back deck and finished off our day there each evening. Limited TV channels so receommend ROKU if you have one.

I believe EVOLVE states in the introduction that you need to bring your Netflix, Hulu, Prime or other streaming accounts with you. I'll double check that information. Sorry, the TV didn't have enough channels for you to watch. It sounds like you enjoyed the great outdoors and hopefully that was worth staying at the Train House.

This is a quaint property with gracious hosts. The home was clean and inviting. Loved the coffee bar and especially the homemade salsa with chips left for us!

Surprised by how quiet the neighborhood is
I picked this home for easy access to Colorado National Monument and Grand Mesa to enjoy a hiking trip with my family. I was surprised how quiet the neighborhood is since it is so close to the train tracks. I heard the trains a few times but the noise was not a bother. The home is clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely older home lots of character, plenty of room for a bigger group. Functional kitchen, washer, and dryer, excellent shower. We loved the corner lot and the parking was excellent. The salsa was delicious. Thank you for an awesome place to stay.

Wonderful Getaway at the Train House
We had a wonderful stay at the Train house. The house is so quaint with keeping the 1940s style yet it was also very comfortable. I loved the fully stocked kitchen where I was able to make meals for my family. The neighborhood very quiet and the deck area great for dining outside. It was also great that the house came with a highchair and playpen which were perfect for when my grandson visited us. The host was very gracious and kept in contact with us. She even left us some of her delicious homemade salsa. We look forward to visiting the Train house in the future.

The Train House was just the perfect haven for our mini-vacation to Grand Junction. We loved the vintage, train-themed decor and special touches throughout the house (coffee bar?!? WHAT?). Came in town to golf for the weekend with 3 buddies. This house was perfect for 4 people. And close to the courses for us. The owners were great and very easy to work with. She even had some homemade salsa and chips waiting for us when we arrived.

This property was everything I expected it to be. We were in town for an event at the college and it is only minutes away. The house is lovely and the pictures are exactly what the house looks like. Nice clean house. It is an older house but it has character. It has a good size kitchen and dining room to accommodate 8 people for dining, As we had our son and his friends over for dinner. Very comfortable space for my wife and I to spend the weekend together. We met the owners and they’re very friendly and helpful with recommendations for places to eat and see in Grand Junction. We would stay again.

Dianna provided a personal, professional and meticulous touch to our time in Grand Junction Colorado. The Train House is an ideal location and connects you to a touch of history. We had fun visiting the chocolate factory, playing at the trampoline park, roller skating, taking in CMU basketball games and hiking in the National Monument.

Very nice house! Extremely clean! Tons of adorable details, extremely well stocked. Owner was more than responsive, she was welcoming and so helpful. Front porch was cute. Even though house is in a somewhat busy area it is very well insulated from the road noise. Back patio is very cute, but not all that private. However, neighbors are quiet and non-intrusive so it’s no biggie. Only critique is more of a preference, we found the beds to be a bit uncomfortable and loud. Other than that small thing the house was perfect.

The train house was the perfect place for us to stay for a soccer weekend. The house is so cute and cozy, with beautiful features that I love in old homes. The details provided in this home were fantastic. Kitchen was fully stocked, coffee bar was great to have, loved the screened in front porch and back patio. It is obvious that every detail was thought about and made a huge difference in our stay. The home was very clean, and not just surface cleaned, but really cleaned. The location was fantastic. Close proximity to downtown and all the main streets to quickly access anything. It is in an older neighborhood so you will always have the homes on the block that are not well maintained and make you a bit unsure, and there is a park a few blocks away that it appears has a homeless population, but a very nice park with a great play area and water park in walking distance the other direction. The owner of the home was in contact with me and offered to meet us upon arrival. Overall, our stay was great and I would highly recommend anyone staying at this location.

The Train House felt like home the minute you walked in! It is so quaint and clean. Along with all the little touches that truly let’s you know the owners are happy you are here! Had a visit with our grandkids and they loved the fenced in side yard to play, the front porch for crafts. I loved that they had a high chair and a pack n play, along with separate bedrooms for both. Close to Main Street, along with anything you may need. We will definitely be staying here every time we come in for a visit!

Such a charming house with a retro vibe, yet with many of the latest amenities!
Such a charming house with a retro vibe, yet with many of the latest amenities! My mom, my two young sons, and myself stayed in this 3-bedroom house for 2 nights. We were very comfortable hanging out in the spacious living room watching Netflix or baking cookies in the 1950s style kitchen. The house stayed plenty warm despite the chilly nights. The home owners were personable and helpful (at a text’s notice the lady and her husband were willing to come by and help us if we needed them for anything). We would definitely recommend this lovely house to anyone needing a place in the Grand Junction area. We were happy that we were close to the shops downtown and to “Get Air at the Silo” where we ended up taking our toddler to get some wiggles out. Thank you for a cozy stay where we were able to relax and make wonderful memories as a family.
