This was the worst super 8 i ever stayed at. No breakfast,no coffee no one at front desk. Hotel was under construction with roll off dumpsters in lot. Toilets lined up outside for disposal (I think). Filty entry, reception area, and staircase. This is the second bad stay at a super 8. Mis represented. Not staying at super 8 ever again.
Given the wrong room, phone broken, door had to be hip checked to close, no coffee, couldn't use guest internet, the list goes on. The bed was clean and comfortable.
Trouble with TV, the box was on the wall to the right of the tv, pointing the remote at the tv did nothing. No internet, following directions it didn't work, went to front desk and they gave me the staff password. I asked there was breakfast, they said 8AM, I went there, NO breakfast and NO one to ask. Won't go here again as the stay was poor.

Won't stay again
TV didnt work. Manager offered to move me to a new room; found the room hadn't been cleaned. The entire hotel, from carpets to bedspreads needs updating. The bathroom in my particular room was in good shape. Sketchy overall. Would not recommended for family and will not stay there again.
The sheets had stains on them. Comforter dirty. Bathroom needs new flooring and kick boards. The TV was stuck on 1 channel.

Check the room before you check in
It was an ok place and the only big complaint i had was the ac not working. Thankfully. It was in the 50's that night so i just slept with the window open.
It was a non-issue. Neither good or bad. The road to the hotel is in horrible condition, but that's on the City of Grand Forks.

The first we were assigned was not cleaned from previous customers. They upgraded our room but the sinks had not been cleaned and there was a speck of blood in one sink. Beds were older. Towels were super nice and plush but only got one. When asked for more, the front desk took towels from a different clean room. No employees overnight hours.

Older Hotel ,needs remodel. Price was right and turned out better then I thought. Bed was the best I've I sleep in on our two week trip.
Very nice room. Nice bed and roomy layout. Only complaint is that the pillows were a bit too large and no lighting over the hot tub. Otherwise it was a great stay. I'd definitely come back again.
The best hotel manager ever. After checking and settling in for the evening the power went out due to a high wind storm. The rooms were very hot in a flash. Michelle asked us if we wanted a list of local hotels so we could get some rest. I called and got the rooms very quickly and moved my family to a hotel that still had power and we settled into sleep by midnight. Without asking she said that when the power came back on the first thing she would do is refund our money. I told her just to do one room...her compassion went a long way with us. Our best hotel experience and didn't even stay the night. BTW...the power came back on at 3:00 am. We were on the road rested and ready to resume our journey thanks to Michelle and Jimmy!
A pair of dirty underwear on our bathroom floor. Volume button on TV remote didn’t work. Wifi didn’t work on any of our devices. When we left in the morning there was a different pair of dirty underwear outside our car door!!!
When we arrived they couldn’t find our reservation but the staff was friendly and worked through the issue. The property is older but appears well maintained. Room was comfortable and clean. TV was not working and it took 3 requests to get it partially fixed but the staff was very nice even though they couldn’t fix the issue entirely. The back entrance card swiped wasn’t working which was inconvenient but with a smaller property it wasn’t difficult to use the front entrance. All in all it was a decent stay. The friendly staff made up for the obstacles.
Not much was wrong. We stay there 1 time a year when we go to the UND hockey game. It is close to the Speedway restaurant so we can catch the shuttle.

This hotel is nice for the price you pay. There were some issues with wi fi. Breakfast was good. It is a little outdated however it was clean. Staff was amazing. Tron from the front desk went above and beyond to help with our requests. Also cleaning guy got us an extra chair within 5 minutes of request. Overall very good experience with Super8 Grand Forks.
Most expensive room in the hotel. Was right next to the stairs heard people coming up and down all night till 5 am. Microwave was broken. Had a jet tub in it, the plug didn’t hold water so couldn’t use it. There was mold around the caps on the tub. When we went to check in. We had to use the phone to call this number that was on the desk because there was no one at the front desk. There breakfast was worse then prison food. And when we were checking out. Not a single sole was around once again. So I could not tell them about our stay.
the girl at the front desk was great, very friendly and helpful.
We got into our room and it was like a sauna, we opened the window in -40 weather to cool it down. After that the heater consistently turned on and off every two minutes for our entire stay. The beds were terrible. The bathroom door looked like someone had used it as a punching bag and no one came into our room to tidy and restock.
Overall I can definitely say we will not be going back.
