good since options are limited

Grafton is my hometown, I remeber when this was a super 8. My family is here visiting my mom, and there are a lot of us, so we needed a room. The app charged me $75, but I was pleased to find out we were actually only charged $65 from the hotel. It's old, no doubt, but it's the best deal in town in terms of price! The breakfast was ok... but free!

A very irritated hotel guest!!

When I got to the Select INN on Wednesday October 30th the front desk person was surprised that I had a reservation with them! She could not find any record of my reservation even though I had paid for it in full on October 9th and I had a print out of my reservation! She said she would try to find me another Hotel which would have cost me more money that I did not have since I am on a limited income and I already paid for that room in advance! She had to take away a room from another guest for that night and gave me that room!!

When I arrived there was no one on duty at the front desk. There were three people in the lobby drinking beer. One asked me what I was doing there. I said I was checking in. She said there were no rooms. After much discussion in Spanish, she called Rhonda the mgr who said they did not get anything from Orbitz. Bad hotel. Do not recommend Orbitz promoting this scam hotel.

They had no one on duty; had to wait for clerk to return from store to check in. Then no record of reservation and no vacancy. Forced to drive 150 miles to our home instead! Complete failure! Have heard horror stories about the facility.

No one at front desk any time unless you call them. When we arrived ready to check in the person who does that was on the road to Grand Forks, according to husband of said person. Lobby smell bad and interior halls. I asked to see the room before staying there. Room was clean. At this point I was not going to stay and willing to absorb the loss. Exterior of grounds and building is littered with bikes, grills. At least two homeless groups are living there. Strong possibility somehow related to manager. An improvement would be to tear the building down. Building needs new windows and much outside work.

Not worth my time or money. Room was freezing cold. Turned heat to max and called front desk after an hour. They came to check on it and said it will warm up EVENTUALLY. So around midnight guess it was warmer than we started at. First day there was continental breakfast (in Rubbermaid containers). The second day I received no continental breakfast. I called the service line (because there wasn't any one at front desk) and it was busy all through cont. breakfast time. Never staying here again and this is my hometown.

Not clean enough.

This was not a clean motel. The people who ran it were nice enough, but the lobby was filthy and had not been mopped in a long time. One night my bed was not made in one of the several nights I was there. There were no openings in the other motel.

Very inexpensive

Expedia charged more than the hotels usual price?? But it was still a good buy. Rooms are much better than expected given the exterior of the building would suggest. Free wifi. AC was not good on a super hot day.
