We always stay here on the way to Santa Fe. Lovely hotel in a woods like setting. The rooms are well appointed; comfortable beds; bath rooms with tubs; nice views; quiet; easy to park. All good. Best part is the large seating area on first floor. Very pleasant after a long day driving. Fresh home baked cookies served and small tables for those (like us) who want to play games or just relax in a quiet setting. Breakfasts are really good with waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon, muffins, etc. The staff are also welcoming and happy to chat - if you are so inclined. Wish there were more modest , but well run hotels like this one.

Staff gave us a good suggestion for walking to dinner as well as she gave us a recommended scenic route to the Grand Canyon which we enjoyed. This was a last minute trip and we were very happy with the accommodations.
