Experience a unique stay in this spectacular apartment located in the historic Realejo neighborhood, at the foot of the Alhambra. Set in a Carmen with over 150 years of history, fully renovated, it blends the traditional charm of Granada with modern comfort.

The property, with its independent entrance on Mirador de las Vistillas Street, accommodates up to 6 people and features 3 double bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom. The fully equipped kitchen, living room with Smart TV, dining area, and spacious private terrace provide everything you need for a comfortable stay. One of the bedrooms has a king-size bed (180x200 cm), while the other two offer single beds (100x200 cm).

It also includes a private garage with an electric car charger (Type 2) and public parking just 2 minutes away.

Guests can also enjoy a wonderful shared outdoor area with another apartment: a charming Andalusian patio and a swimming pool, perfect for relaxing and sunbathing.

Ideal for families or groups seeking tranquility, quality, and an unbeatable location, just 15 minutes on foot from both the city center and the Alhambra.

  • I walked all the way up to find these gardens without really knowing what to expect, but I absolutely loved them! It's said that poet Frederico García Lorca spent quite a bit of time here. There's a grand house surrounded by multiple gardens and fountains. 🌴⛲️🍊It's a rather peaceful spot with overlooks of the city and surprises around every corner. There are plaques displaying local Spanish poetry throughout, and I even found a gang of peacocks wandering around! Definitely plan to spend a lot of time here. Update: there is also a hidden lake with a mini castle on an island in the middle, as well as ducks... 🦆

Lovely, sunny apartment in a great location

Carmen San Ignacio is a lovely, well-furnished apartment in an excellent location. It is walking distance from the Alhambra (although it is a very steep climb!) and has easy access to nearby plazas and restaurants. The living room/kitchen/dining area is spacious and comfortable with room for 6 people to spread out. The bedrooms are relatively small, as are the ensuite bathrooms, although they work for a short stay. The patio adjacent to the apartment is beautiful as is the upper patio with the pool. Unfortunately, we were there in winter so the unheated pool went unused. I would recommend better supplies in the kitchen and bathrooms. One dish towel is not enough for for 4 days and there was no soap provided for the kitchen or bathrooms. Nor was there any detergent for the clothes washer. When one travels from abroad, one can't bring along these kinds of supplies. And a few extra bath towels would have been appreciated. Otherwise, Genteel Home provided us with a wonderful experience in Granada. They were responsive to all our questions, recommended an excellent private guide for the Alhambra and accommodated us at checkout when we needed a late checkout because of an emergency medical issue. We were very grateful. We would be delighted to stay again in this lovely apartment if we returned to Granada.
