The reception staff were so friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome and giving us lots of tips on what to see and do. The room was very basic but clean and quiet. The place is in a perfect location to all parts of town that tourists would like to see.

Great place to stay while in Granada. I was looking for a hostel and Arteaga Hostal pop up. I had my private room with private bath, mini fridge, free 1.5 liter water bottle per day (Tip: Granada's water is safe to drink and much better than water bottle) and the best...excellent personalized service. You feel you're in a 5 Star hotel. Walking distance to Granada Cathedral, mirador San Nicolas, Albayzin and many other atractions. I walked to Alhambra from the hostel. Personalized service is the Best! I loved this place and I will stay here again if I'm back in Granada.

Only 5 minutes walk to the cathedral. Plenty of food and drinks around. Very safe and secured entrance and exit. The lady in charge is very friendly yet professional. The room is on a smaller size but clean and has big window. The bathroom is very big and with big window for circulation

The property is a little old and needs some updating; however, it is very clean and I was so impressed with the staff. I haven't had a better experience anywhere else. The front desk ladies are so nice, they really treat you like family. I was so happy because I felt save, welcomed, and overall great. I will recommend this place to everyone that would like to visit Granada, plus the will give you a discount to the Arabian bath that I will totally recommend to do.

Staying at the Arteaga was real value for money. It was central and easy walking distance from the train station. Our room was lovely, clean room, comfy bed and good en suite. Best of all was the friendly, welcoming staff who were extremely attentive and helpful. Check in and out times were great too as the main desk is manned most of the time. There was even a place to leave our luggage after we’d checked out. The bath/sauna/massage experience was luxurious. Pack a swimsuit! Granada is a brilliant place to visit. We were too late to book a ticket for the Alhambra but you could get in free and wander around lots of places within the entrance and gardens. I’d recommend the e-bike tour too. Got a great view of the city, snow capped mountains and Alhambra.

really nice staff

The staff at Arteaga and the Banos Elvira were the highlight of this trip. They were so warm and inviting and helpful. The location was also quite close to walk to the Alhambra and the main squares and shopping beneath the Alhambra. Unfortunately the bed (pillow in particular) wasn't that comfortable and the room we stayed in faced an alley with VERY noisy neighbors. I know that Spanish people tend to eat late and have a good time, but after a full day of sightseeing and a relaxing soak and massage in the baths on-site, we were ready to go to bed early...and simply could not because there was a birthday celebration going until midnight on a Monday night. I know this is not the fault of the hotel, but I was quite tired and disappointed at how little sound was blocked out by just closing our window and curtains at night. We did enjoy the bathhouse below, which was super convenient to just go downstairs and back upstairs in our robes and slippers. The highlight of Arteaga was the staff friendliness for us.
