The staff didn’t speak English and our French is limited but we all managed to communicate and they were helpful, kind and friendly. We had dinner and breakfast in the hotel which was delicious. "This may be the nicest two star hotel I have ever seen. First of all spotless, elevator that worked, very comfortable room, particularly considering the price. Bathroom, modern and convenient. I gave it full stars because you can’t apply the standard of the plaza to a two star hotel you apply the two star standard. This is simply an excellent bargain "

"Access to this hotel is via the sister hotel up the road. This is where reception and breakfast are located. The young man on duty spoke good French but was completely unhelpful and without a grasp of customer service - when I explained the dangerous condition of the lift, he tried to defend it! The lift is only big enough for 1 person plus a bag but when I tried to reverse out of the lift,my foot was caught on the 8cm lip of the lift shaft and I fell over backwards,hitting my head, back and...
