"The house in Croatia was everything And more. The views of the mountains and the Adriatic Sea were amazing. The grounds were impeccable. The house was staged beautifully. We cooked, swam in that beautiful heated pool. We roasted chestnuts in the outdoor fireplace. Josip the host was super friendly and accommodating. "Lovely villa, exactly as described. Great view, cool property up above town. Mario was very responsive and helped us with anything we had questions about. As with all rentals, it helps to have cell service when arriving to communicate timing with the host. Of note, the heated pool gets to 27-28 C, which would likely be comfortable when the weather is nice but was not warm enough to use if the weather is cool or rainy at the start of the off-season."

"The property location is second to none. It has direct access to a beautiful pebbly beach and hasweeping sea views. The beach is relatively quiet except for a few nudist sunbathers. The house itself is clean but isn't quite what it should be for this price range. A significant proportion of the house area is used up by storage rooms. The living room space is very limited. The bedding and kitchen equipment needs updating. With a little more thought put into the comfort of the guest, this house...
