We loved the historical ambiance and the Menger Bar was great. The location is right next to the Alamo so it was worth it. The bartenders were very well informed and friendly. The bathroom was very outdated and had a rusty toilet paper holder. Had to ask for toilet paper and towels every day. The front desk staff were inconsistently courteous. Some great and the lady who checked me out was rude. Valet parking attendant were very nice.
The beds were not queen size, but I thought they would be- comfortable but tight for 2.
The lobby and balcony was great. Overall happy for our first experience in San Antonio- also close to the River Walk!
