The best time to visit Gourri is during the spring (April to June) and autumn (September to October) months.

During these periods, the weather is pleasantly warm, typically ranging from 20-30°C, with abundant sunshine and minimal rainfall. This makes it ideal for exploring the village and its surrounding natural beauty without the intense heat of summer or the cooler, wetter conditions of winter. The countryside is particularly beautiful in spring when wildflowers are in bloom, and in autumn, the changing foliage adds a lovely touch to the landscape.

For travellers interested in hiking or cycling, these months offer comfortable temperatures for outdoor activities. The routes through the Machairas forest, which surrounds Gourri, are particularly enjoyable, providing stunning views and a chance to experience the local flora and fauna. It's a great time for those who appreciate the outdoors without extreme conditions.

Families might find these shoulder seasons superb for a relaxed holiday. The milder weather allows for comfortable sightseeing and leisurely walks around the village, with plenty of opportunities for children to enjoy the open spaces.
