"Our room was a Superior room, very clean and spacious. The staff on Reception and in the dining room were friendly and helpful. The hotel has nice grounds and plenty of car parking. It is ideally situated for the town."

"Check-in was quick and easy - the lady who checked us in was friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. Our room was lovely, with a large and comfortable bed, plenty of cushions, and a peaceful, warm atmosphere. There were also tea-making facilities and a fridge, which was a nice touch. We didn’t get a chance to try the spa or gym facilities this time, but breakfast was excellent - a great variety on offer, quick service, and perfectly cooked scrambled eggs! The hotel’s central location was ideal for exploring Ambleside, with everything just a short walk away."
