"Stayed at this location to avoid security issues relative to a traditional hotel as had many items in my possession that could not be carried inside during the stay. Staying at the Cozy Cottage was inside a gated fenced farm providing extra security for one night. A great place to stay and very adequate for a couple on a weekend getaway to the Texas Hill Country."

"It was an incredible stay in a peaceful, beautiful part of Texas. The hiking offered around the property was gorgeous with views of the surrounding terrain. We were warm after our hike so we swam in the pool, it was very clean and perfect temperature to help cool us down. The free roaming animals were sweet and beautiful, they greeted us shortly after arrival! The back porch was lovely for breakfast or coffee in the mornings. We mainly cooked outside on the grill and enjoyed a fire one night. It stormed while we were there but the cabin was spacious and the sound of the rain on the roof was like a soundscape. We would love to stay here again for longer. "

"This place was amazing. The owner was fantastic. Made us feel right at home. The cottage was very clean with amazing view. Every morning when you awake and walk out onto the 2nd floor deck your subject to see any of different species of animals Ty has on this amazing place. Our last morning we awoke to see a Sika deer standing by the pool. Adriaan was an excellent tour guide. He was very patient with the grand kids while feeding the Rhino and giraffes. Very knowledgeable about the animals and the land. Caught some nice bass in stock pond. We will definitely be back."
