"We had a great stay and hope we can do it again sometime. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. It sits close to the road, but with the noise machine on, it didn't bother us when we slept. We enjoyed watching the sunset over the river. It's a beautiful area and very close to Colorado Bend SP."

"Great stay and a wonderful charming town. The updated boutique Hotel was comfortable. However, there is a road right out front that is a little bit noisy and everything is upstairs and there’s no elevators. That said, we enjoyed our stay."

"Amazing get away after a long week camping on the coast!The goats where supper funny and entertaining, just doing there thing around the property. The pool was a super cool experience as well, just a pool 5 feet off the ground in the middle of Texas, super cool! Will definitely be staying again!"

Secluded Country Escape + Hot Tub

"We loved our stay and hope to stay here each time we come to visit our family. The property is secluded away from any other living area. At night we turned off the outside lights and gazed at the stars. The property is well maintained and has a secure fence around the entire house with an electronic gate for entry. There were flowers around the house, and through the windows we were able to watch hummingbirds and butterflies as they fed on the blooms.Everything has been well thought out to make the stay comfortable. Each light switch is labeled for convenience. There are cabinets with pans and bakeware and drawers with all sorts of kitchen utensils. There is a reverse-osmosis faucet for filtered water. Besides dishes and glassware, there is foil, plastic wrap, and sandwich bags in the pantry. It has plenty of towels, hangers in the closets, and a vacuum to use if needed. We stayed comfortable with setting the central air to 70 degrees. We were amazed by the thought that the owners put into providing everything needed so we didn’t have to bring stuff with us to get by during our week-long stay.Janae was extremely helpful during the entire process and promptly answered any questions we had. She provided us with detailed information about the property prior to our arrival and had the lights on when we arrived late at night for our first night. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and such a great host that together helped make our stay so pleasant and carefree."

"We had an incredible time at the ranch. The pool and hot tub were perfect, and biking through the property while spotting wildebeests and zebras was surreal. Ty, Leslie, and Adriaan were phenomenal hosts. We really enjoyed the safari where we fed both Tank the rhino and the giraffes."
