Amazing Holiday Home!

Great property, thoroughly enjoyable experience

Although the matters outlined below did not detract from a very enjoyable holiday with mates of over 30 years, please note the following as items for improvement: toaster not working properly, broken dishwasher baskets, underwear from previous tenant left behind a bathroom door, no heating controller available, no instructions for pool overflow and a 2nd fridge would be useful for such a large property. Otherwise GREAT!!

Perfect house for a big group!

Great property for a big group! Plenty of space, great amenities and nice and clean. Elite holiday homes were amazing to deal and so understanding and accommodating.

All the necessities but lacking in a homely touch

The house had all the basics you need for a weekend away with lovely fresh linens, a well equipped kitchen, covered car parking, spacious rooms. However there were many sandflies which attacked us all- the guestbook at the property warned about this but nothing online gave us pre-warning so we weren’t prepped with insect repellent. It would have been nice if some was supplied at the property. It would’ve also been a nice touch if there were some homely essentials supplied such as tissues, more than one roll of toilet paper per toilet, a decent tv, board games, maybe some basic fishing equipment for fishing off the boardwalk, etc. The dining table was quite small considering the house size, but the seating at the bench also wasn’t much better. One of the stools was wobbly and seemed like it would collapse. Several of the locks on the bathroom doors didn’t work, the pool gate didn’t click shut unless you pulled it hard, and there were a few other instances like this where the house was lacking in general upkeep. The air conditioner was also very problematic. It made the main bedroom icy cold but did not seem to cool the rest of the house at all, except directly under a large vent in the kitchen which had condensation all over it. The filter obviously needed cleaning and the system needed servicing/updating because the isolation switches didn’t work. The ability to control it from downstairs rather than just upstairs would’ve also been beneficial. Overall the house was spacious and had enough amenities for a short stay but not enough to make things comfortable for a large group staying longer than a couple of nights.

Great propert for an extended family holiday

We had a fantastic week here. Located within walking distance of The beach, Pacigic Fair, Jupiters and the light rail. Close to a great cafe (Grocer & Grind). The layout is great for a number of families - two separate living areas, bedrooms with lots of sleeping combinations, big kitchen and dining area, play areas at front and back as well as pool and direct access on to canal for kayaking and fishing.

fantastic property for any occasion

The second time we have stayed at the Flamingo as it is such a beautiful property and caters for numerous families. All the facilities you need and the addition of a second fridge made things even easier. With only a short walk to Broadbeach you don't even need to get in the car for anything. Will definitely be booking this property again.

Fantastic house

We had a family reunion for from new babies to 85 year olds and the house was perfect. Everyone had great rooms and having some on ground level with a bathroom was great for the older ones. Was very safe for the little kids and they loved the cubby house and toys. Will happily go back again.

Awesome Property!

We could not fault Flamingo. This home had everything we needed. Our group of 10 would consider returning with our families. It was a 15 minute walk to Pacific Fair, Jupiters, and the central part of Broadbeach. Thank you Kylie for meeting us on site and giving us tips on where to to dine & enjoy our stay.

Everything me and my friends wanted

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay of a week at Flamingo Key the facilities and the living areas were perfect for close gatherings for a group of 14 university students, the surroundings were very serene and the neighbourhood is very friendly. It is also a very nice location not being too far from theme parks or other tourist areas, and a few minutes from woolworth and coles Great service with booking and with check-in. If we were to come back to the Gold Coast we would certainly book Elite Holiday Homes again

Beautiful property, excellent location

A group of 12 of us stayed at Flamingo Key and were very impressed with the layout, location and facilities at this house! Only a short walk or taxi ride (about $7) to Pac Fair, Draculas the Casino or Broadbeach main street. Clean, comfortable and plenty to keep you entertained between the pool, jetty, kayak, pool table and foxtel and playstation.

Excellent Property & Location

This house meet all our expectations. We had a team of 10 people stay for 9 nights will we competed in the Pan Pacific Masters Games. The location was great as we were within walking distance of the convention centre for nightly entertainment as well as shopping and dining out . Even though there was so many of us, we never felt like we were crowded. The size & spaciousness of the kitchen & butlers pantry was great along with the over sizing of the very comfy lounge. A well thought out home catering for lots of people!

Great stay

We enjoyed our stay very much with a family of four and guests somedays during our stay. The house was in good condition and everything worked! It's a great street with quiet neighbours, perfect for a couple of weeks relaxation, the pleasant and friendly service we received of elite holiday homes made it even better. I need to stress the great service we received during the whole process of our holiday booking. Easy to book, easy to arrange checkin, all very professional yet with a twist of friendlyness and down to earth polite attitude. This was a very pleasant experience compared to previous experiences through other agencies. We would certainly book with elite holiday homes again. But especially the great (professional and fast) service, you don't see that often anymore these days, shame...

Holiday Retreat

A group of us recently stayed here for the PanPacific Masters Games. The location was perfect as it was within walking distance to the shops and convention centre. the house is just huge and plenty of space for everyone to spread out comfortably, and a generous kitchen and walk in pantry to store everything. The pool and canal and outdoor area were a great retreat for our tired legs at the end of each day, as well as having full aircon throughout the house to get you through the summer days. The house was fairly new and very clean on our arrival. The street and surrounds are nice and quiet and overall we were really happy with our accommodation and will definitely stay there again.
