"A convenient location to stay for UPenn's visit"

"The stay was fine. Not having a microwave in the room was a bit offsetting. My room was on the 12th floor while the microwave was located in a common area on the 3rd floor. There was mold on the ceiling above the shower. My biggest gripe was that when I reserved the room, the rate was $265 per night. When I arrived I was charged $334 per night. I didn’t dispute it. I had just driven 8hrs and it was already late and I really had no other choice at the time. However, the staff was amazing."

"Our room was filthy. Floors were covered in prior guest debris and hair. No towels, soap, pillows when we first arrived, but a call downstairs got those items quickly. It looked like our room wasn't ready for occupancy, no clock, hangers, extra lock on door. No blackout curtains, so at night, room was too lit up from outside lights. "

"The room was “cleaned” prior to my arrival but the general upkeep of the room and the hotel was still extremely poor. The bathroom had mould and/or residues on the ceiling and the room was dusty and extremely uninviting. If it wasn’t for my late check in, I would most likely have looked to move elsewhere"

"The check-in staff member was pleasant and another employee kindly brought us an extra bedsheet when requested, so I do want to acknowledge that the staff we personally interacted with were courteous and helpful. Unfortunately, beyond that, this was genuinely the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The fire alarm went off twice during the night, making it nearly impossible to feel comfortable or safe. The hallways were filled with trash, including condom wrappers, and there were people literally sleeping on the hallway floors. There also appeared to be many individuals wandering the property who were not actual guests. Multiple people outside the entrances seemed heavily under the influence of drugs and were lingering around the building at all hours, which created a very unsafe atmosphere. The entire hotel smelled strongly of marijuana, especially throughout the hallways, and I was genuinely concerned about the safety of my vehicle overnight. While the room itself was not terrible, the overall environment completely outweighed that one positive. I would absolutely not recommend this hotel to a woman traveling alone, or honestly to anyone looking for a safe, clean, and comfortable stay. Management seriously needs to address security and prevent non-guests from freely roaming the premises."

"They didn't have an employee for the shuttle at 5:30 but the decorator (I forgot his name) stepped in as the shuttle driver and was very nice and did an excellent job!"
