"I had a big group coming to Scotland so I decided to book the Grant arms for ease. Price was fair and pictures looked great. The property is dated, but the staff makes up for it. There is few plugs in rooms and some guests found their room noisy and struggled to sleep through the night. "Rooms were great, exceeding expectations considering its location in the countryside and cheap price. However, the owner should not be so aggressive about inconveniences caused by guests. If he thought we were too loud in our rooms, the owner should have simply said so. Barging in to our room without any warning or properly announcing himself(he just opened the door and came in his bathrobes) was unacceptable. "Lovely small hotel, however our room was next to the road and could hear every vehicle as it went by even though there was secondary glazing. Hotel and staff I could not fault and the food was excellent, would definitely go back if in the area for the distilleries but would ask for a different room."
