"Hotel with bar and restaurant close to center if town. Location good, rooms okay. Staff was working restaurant when I arrived so were a bit short with me. Rooms typical of average motel. I would stay there again if nothing of better value available."

"I stayed for three nights in room 46. It was extremely disappointing. The room looked shabby and badly needed an update. The weather was cold and wet but there were no spare blankets available in the cupboards. No washing up liquid was provided for guests to wash their dishes. No side plates available. The bathroom was very poorly maintained. Both the the bath and the washbasin were badly stained and cracked and looked dirty. The wash basin in particular needs replacing. The towels did not look clean. My biggest complaint is that I was charged almost $800 for this. I assume the high price was because of the Generations in Jazz weekend in Mt. Gambier as I have just looked up the offer now and it is HALF that price for a three night stay. Because of the extremely poor facilities and the greatly overpriced charge I feel entitled to a refund. I will not recommend this to anyone and will not stay there again."
