The info and photos online are dated and because that set expectations, our initial impression was disappointing - which planted a seed of doubt. Thankfully, the TV, mattresses and towels were all fine. Our stay would have also been enhanced by any kind of general info letter. "Heaven on earth is how I describe Isle of Skye and this place helped cement my feeling about it. The house is adorable and had plenty of space for our group of 5. We enjoyed our stay very much and particularly enjoyed the views of Loch Caroy in the morning and in the evening. We would easily stay here again if we return to Isle of Skye. The only things we would suggest for future guests is to be sure to bring some extra toilet paper and paper towels/ napkins with you. "

"This darling cabin on the outskirts of Portree is perfect for a romantic getaway. Comfortable with a nice sitting area to view the lovingly tended garden full of flowers and birds. Comfortable bed with great pillows and a very good shower. 10-minute walk into town but removed enough for a quiet night sleep. David was delightful and we enjoyed talking with him and meeting his pup, Tara. Highly recommend this gem of a spot for exploring Skye!"
