"Good location, fabulous desk staff; breakfast nothing special"

"Esthetically the hotel is very pleasing and clean. I had a few concerns thiugh, the only elevator seemd like it was in need of maintenance, sounded like it would break away any minute. The wallpaper in the riom was coming apart at the seams. And the main concern for privacy was they used a barn sliding door for the bathroom. Not very private. Disappointed on how low the toilet was as well. Beds were comfortbale, we had enough hot water for a shower. The breakfast bar ladies were great, i had an eay race on Saturday and they let me grab a few things, it wasnt open for a other 30 mins. Fro t staff was friendly and overall a nice atmosphere. Just needs some maintenance and better updates."

"Room was ok but… they had done some painting of the bathroom ceiling and there were paint splatters literally on every surface and wall of the bathroom. The rest of our stay was satisfactory but it left me wondering what else they cut corners on. Also, the air conditioning made a weird wheezing sound. The staff was very nice, especially the breakfast staff who did a great job. "

"The staff was on the phone and inattentive while checking us in. Zero hospitality. The room was so basic. You could see the metal bedframe. The room smelled like cigarette smoke. We called and asked for a new room and they were matter of fact and said we don’t have another room. And offered for us to check out for a refund. 4 days later the “refund manager” still hasn’t called us "
