We checked in. Walking into the room there is a strong odor. There is no soap, towels, toilet paper and I look at the beds… they are rumpled and there are pillow cases missing. There’s also pee in the toilet.I passed a woman on the way to the desk and she gave me a number for “Ila” to text who is the manager. I texted-no answer. I walked to the desk and wait for about 5-10 minutes and then go into the restaurant where I learned Ila is who checked me in. I explain what happened and asked for her to switch us rooms. She is kind and switches us no problem. We unload and decided to order pizza. I walk to the restaurant and order and thought I would wait for the pizza. Tammy and (again) Ila were waiting tables and tending bar both busy and kind. Tammy accidentally dropped a glass and I helped her clean it up. It took an hour to order until I got it and it was paid for. I again thought “they are busy” and let it go. Next we went to the pool and all I wanted was a nice relaxing g time in the hot tub— the hot tub was cold. Talking with the other guests it was suggested that it had been addressed already and that it was “heating up” so I let it go. Kids went in the pool.We went back to the room after to discover that the heating and cooling unit had leaked all over my son’s bag so all of his clothes were wet. The floor was also soaked a concern that a hotel should be aware of. I was just so disappointed. We decided to go home. I have messaged the host multiple times and nothing.
