This unassuming property offered the most comfortable bed and night’s rest, compared to all the previous beds experienced during this Northern QLD holiday. Host was also very accommodating with a very late checkin! I would definitely stay there again!

The bed was REALLY comfortable and the staff were lovely understanding and helpful - the other guests - mostly tradies / workers were really loud leaving at between 4-6 in the morning most days

I thought it was excellent value for money, the person on reception when I checked in was so nice, professional and welcoming. The room appeared very clean but there was someone else's used soap still in the shower, the hairdryer was very broken, when I switched it on it made a scary bright glow then completely died. Those things I just thought oh well, it's not a big deal, I'm still happy with the place but I was so annoyed when the cleaners knocked at 9.50am, 3 of them sat by the door while I got my stuff out. I still had 10 minutes! It really ruined my stay and made me so stressed and anxious being forced out, I really liked it there but I'll NEVER go back because I thought I had the room until 10 and being forced out before then was a stressful experience.

During me 10 day stay I had to get 6 sets of keycards, that didn’t work. The room was grimy and dusty, the blinds filthy, had to clean the bathroom vanity from old toothpaste, microwave dirty. There were holes in the sheets, and the pillow protector was torn and the doona had a burn mark on it.I have photos. Outside was littered with hundreds of cigarette butt’s and beer bottle tops. The pool area…no cushions as in photo… 4 towels were left in a pile for 4 days, no one cleaned out there. The property is extremely convenient but unfortunately does not look anything like their photos but I’m told it is undergoing renovation

Serene in the heart of the city
These apartments are really spacious, older style motel layout however really well maintained with a fantastic bed . Water pressure in shower was great . Rydges quality 100%. Staff and housekeeping are so friendly and welcoming. Can’t fault the stay

Great for a Short Stay
Good sized rooms with kitchenette facilities. Great location and friendly staff, rooms are just a little tired, but perfectly clean and tidy for for a short stay.

Business Overnight Stay in Gladstone
Overall a very good experience. Check-in was smooth and friendly. Room is maintained to a high standard and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is not so young these days but she is being maintained to a high standard. Would certainly stay again.

The stay was pretty good although quite a lot of noise from railway and major road it seemed nearby. Apartment itself was very nice.

After trying four rooms we got one that was just bearable. The first room had a water leak and smelt musty, the second the air conditioner did not work, the third also had a faulty air conditioner and the fourth had a water leak in the vanity , a light over bed did not work and the table had a 25mm wabble. Not happy.

I wish you had taken up the offer to move into the main complex which was declined. New aircons are being installed in all rooms in the New Year. I have passed on comments to maintenance with regards to the light and table.

Make sure you read the fine print as you have to go up into Rydges to check in and out. They also take a deposit of $100. The pool in pics is also at Rydges. The room itself was lovely and quiet and very clean as was the staff member who checked me in.

The property is older, still it was clean and convenient. The room was made up daily and the toiletries replaced. Usually do not use hotel toiletries, however these ones were lovely, the hand soap was scented and the body wash smelt delicious and wasn’t cheap and nasty. The towels were thick and fluffy. The hand held shower head needed some TLC as it loosened and sprays all over the place. The air conditioner was very noisy, (high pitch ring with the fan) so I opened the window, which unfortunately caused the unit fire sensor alarm to go off at 5am, however this could hardly be the fault of the hotel. Check out was easy as all I did was call the main hotel and settle the bill without having to drag luggage all the way there before heading off to work for the day. It was close to amenities such as Woolworths and restaurants, so it is a great location. As far as older style rooms, this was one of the better ones, and value for money was certainly there. If it’s cheap it is usually nasty, not in this case. Would stay again, however with summer on its way, would check the air conditioner on arrival to ensure it was useable.

The area is very quiet, well lit and you feel safe. It is only a couple of hundred metres easy walking to eateries and one block back from the main street in town, The rooms are larger than usual which we greatly appreciate and the bathroom is extra large . The kitchenette is adequate with ample utensils and appliances including an electric fry pan and you could easily bath a baby in the large kitchen sink. There is a dining table and 4 chairs and a built in desk with comfortable chair plus a very comfortable lounge chair. There is covered parking outside the rooms which my husband likes, saving his knees carting bags. The bed was very comfortable and above all, the price is very affordable.

Great service
I booked 3 rooms for family to stay for a wedding. There was a dripping shower in one unit so reception moved the whole three rooms so we could still stay next door to each other which was much appreciated. It was quiet, safe & rooms were spacious. Having a dining table & chairs helped make it more comfortable as were the kitchen facilities. Totally recommend this place for convenience, location and comfort.

Great for an overnight stay,
The apartments are showing their age and could benefit from a total revamp but overall for a quick stay they are fine, well positioned and associated with Rydges so you can take advantage of the Rydges facilities.

Quiet, comfortable & safe.
We have stayed here three times before and will stay here again. The studio rooms are larger than normal, comfortable beds, large shower and adequate lighting. The kitchenette is well equipped. Car parking is right outside your door & easily accessible. It is quiet and safe and right in the city centre.

Our stay was enjoyable.
A very enjoyable experience. Close by the restaurant, the museum, shops and a quick walk to the foreshore. The ambience of the restaurant was wonderful. Our room was comfortable. Very nice place.

It was a convenient and clean hotel
The room was comfortable, but wifi not available. Also the swimming pool gloriously featured in the advertising was available in the hotel across the road, not on the premisis. The rooms were well cleaned and the staff at the hotel ( once I worked out the premises did not have a check in, and it should be mentioned on the web that you have to check in across the road.
