From all of Sarah’s prompt communications, to her directions to help us find her place, to suggestions on where to eat and buy food- we couldn’t be happier with our stay. Sarah’s place was quiet, rather remote (but what we needed after several hectic days of travel) and well situated for seeing the sights around John O’Groats, Thurso and the North Coast 500. Sarah is above and beyond one of the best hosts we have ever encountered on our travels (staying at VRBOs). "This was our 3rd VRBO stay on our tour of Scotland in a transit van. We were a family of 5 adults and Lodge 10 was a great base camp with ample parking from which we explored the area. The Lodge was airy and bright despite the stubborn fog. The only reason we give this property 4 stars instead of 5 is there were some things in need of maintenance and sprucing up. But, we would gladly stay here again!"
