"The cottage we stayed in was adorable with our own little porch. John was so welcoming. The food for breakfast looked amazing even though we didn’t have the chance to eat. They offer thoughtful touches like a s’mores set up for you if you want to sit by the fire pit and fresh cookies to take during the day. I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast if you are in Cooperstown. "

"We had such a wonderful stay at this home during our Cooperstown All Star Village week! The location couldn’t have been more convenient—just minutes from the facility, which made it so easy for us to go back and forth throughout the week. The house itself was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable for our family. We truly appreciated how thoughtful and helpful the host was, always quick to answer questions and make sure everything went smoothly. This home made our trip even more special, and we can’t wait to come back in a few years for our next Cooperstown trip!"

"Our stay at The Oasis was wonderful. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed - including paper products, garbage bags and all bathroom needs. The owners were super responsive and informative. The kids loved the pool, wiffle ball field and the firepit. "

"Beautiful, serene and unique! The perfect getaway to relax and unwind. My husband and I stayed 4 nights with our dog and enjoyed every moment. The property is incredibly private and makes you feel like you're in your own secluded garden. The house is so unique and very cool to think on how old the building is and that it was once a working grist mill. It was a perfect blend of the old and modern. Robert has obviously put a lot of thought into making this a comfortable home, with many personal touches throughout. And a hammock? Inside? Now that was pretty great. Communication with Robert was above and beyond. We hope to stay again! "

"We absolutely loved our stay! This was by far the cleanest of the three VRBOs we stayed in during our New York trip. The house was spotless, well cared for, and had a lot of thoughtful touches—including some welcome treats and fun games for the kids.The host was incredibly friendly and responsive, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free. The neighborhood was cute, quiet, and felt very safe—perfect for families.We’d absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone coming for a Cooperstown baseball tournament or just visiting the area!"

"Very run down property in middle of nowhere. No proper locks, dirty, inconveniently located and NO lake anywhere in sight. Owner lives in trailer a few lots down and was showering in garage when I arrived. I immediately felt unsafe and creeped out and left the property. Be prepared to have no cell service once you leave the door. I had to find a hotel to stay in because it was such a nightmare of a place. One wall AC unit inbedroom for entire home.Currently in duspute for a complete refund as this VRBO was not suitable for a stay! "
