"We stayed at Abel’s Acres to go to Cooperstown All Stars Village (CASV). The property was about 15 minutes away from CASV. It was also close to Oneonta, where there are a variety of stores (Walmart Super Center, five Below, Aldi), chain restaurants (Buffalo Wild Wings, Burger King, Panera), and local eateries (The Depot, Toscana Italian Grill).The property was very clean and cozy with a well-equipped kitchen (provide your own seasonings and condiments), and plenty of entertainment (outdoor basketball hoops, gaming console, and impressive DVD collection). You are surrounded by nature and serenity outside. We saw deer and groundhogs everyday and experienced an amazing rainstorm while there. Check-in and check-out was easy and convenient. Before our stay, Raymond and I chatted over the phone about the property and check-in process, which was a very nice personal touch. He responded quickly via text during our stay.We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Abel’s Acres and highly recommend it, especially if you’re going to Cooperstown."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Garden House! Dave was such a welcoming host. This house had plenty of room and was shared between two families of three. It was so nice to be able to spread out rather than be cramped up in a hotel room. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, and utensils for us to use. The bathrooms had ample towels. The property was beautiful and we were lucky enough to see a family of deer while we were staying. Thank you Dave and Anne for taking such good care of your guests!"
