Friendly staff, but hair dryer in my room was broken and they didn’t have an extra handy so I had to change rooms. The new room was very noisy as I heard people going through trash cans and you can hear people having conversations from upstairs or next room.

We LOVED this hotel!! We came from the W Seattle the night before. The views are incredible, the lounge / reception area was a great place to hang out and the food was AMAZING. The bay view rooms especially are phenomenal. I'd probably choose a bay view before an upgraded room if given the choice. (We had an upgraded room and my parents got a beautiful bay view with their standard choice!). All in all, we were very impressed and would choose this hotel again in a minute!

This was our second visit to the State Hotel and it was just as wonderful as the first. It had everything we needed for our visit to Seattle: beautiful room, professional and friendly staff, and a rooftop with an amazing view. We’ll be back!
