Tucked away down a quiet street but within 5 minutes walk of the town centre, the Abbey itself and plenty of restaurants nearby. The breakfast was a typical continental and checkout very simple."

"Nice budget style hotel used for a stop over to break up travelling. Breakfast could have been better, or more of it available. Big delays in getting stuff out. Could have also had somewhere to get a late hot drink. Machine only took coins and not cards which nobody really has anymore and with nothing on room to make something it was annoying. Apart from that which has stopped me giving 5 stars the place was great for what we paid and needed it for. Would use again."

From the hotel room to the spa and pool, everything was spotless, and the hotel itself was very charming. It has a lovely boutique-hotel feel, and you can really sense the extra care and personal attention that goes into the service. My mother also had massages during our stay and was extremely happy with both the service and the estheticienne. She found the experience very relaxing and especially appreciated the care and attention she received. Overall, it was a warm, welcoming, and well-run hotel."

"This is a lovely hotel. Unfortunately, we arrived during a heat wave and the air conditioning was not working. However, the owner had advised us in advance about the situation and couldn't have been more helpful in aiding a comfortable night's sleep by providing us with two fans. They worked very well and we had a good night's rest. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean. We had tea and coffee making facilities in our room and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would definitely stay here again."
