"We were celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary - 2 of us. Back porch was our favorite - stunning views, intriguing to watch an active farm at work making hay bales in the fields with a team of tractors, freeing to watch the birds flying as a pack high in the sky, peaceful to watch the horses grazing in the areas around the cabin. There was one rainy day during our stay, and we enjoyed sitting on the back porch reading & playing cards while listening to the gentle sound of the rain all around. I did yoga in grass next to the cabin & down by the river access many times. We packed our lunch & drinks for leisurely swimming & lounging at the river access one day and took it up a notch with the 5 mile route with 2 kayaks another day. It was comforting to come back to the cabin in the evenings after being out in nature all day to unwind - grill meat for dinner, brought our own DVD player to watch movies, dip in the hot tub. Tracey & her family are welcoming & we enjoyed chatting with Tracey on the way to the 5 mile kayak drop. Bring cash for the extra floating fees. We would love to return to stay in this cabin or check out some of their other options on the property with 4J Vacation Rentals - it was all so wonderful!"

"I don’t write reviews very often, but this place absolutely deserves one. We had such a wonderful stay. It was even more beautiful than we imagined, and the pictures online honestly don’t do it justice. From drinking our morning coffee while listening to all the different birds to relaxing in the hot tub after a day of exploring, every moment felt peaceful.It was the perfect place to slow down and recharge, and being just a short drive from the river made it even better. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway surrounded by nature, I can’t recommend this place enough. We left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and already hoping we can come back someday."
