The room was really nice and checkin went quick and smoothly, but the attendance of the personnel was horrible. As hotel guests, we have not been allowed to sit outside without ordering food and staff inside has been unwelcoming. We do not know if this was the case because of language barriers (most did not speak English), because we did not order food or it is just common to provide worse service than in any other country or hotel where we have ever been - and we are coming from a country, which indeed has the reputation of "bad service" (Germany).

Stayed at the hotel for a full week. On arrival our room wasn’t ready, even though a number of messages to request a twin room was sent and acknowledged.
The room was so dark, no natural light. I asked to move rooms the reception staff was so rude and did not help to resolve our request.
Lights bulbs were not working, three of them. Which didn’t help - no natural light either. It was like staying in a cave. See the pictures.
One day our room wasn’t serviced by 6pm. I asked reception to resolve and no apology was given. I was made to feel that I was the problem.
Breakfast was good but was never offered coffee.
We did have an excellent experience on the rooftop bar. Staff very friendly especially the man with milo the dog. He is a real asset to the hotel. Tapas food was perfect.
A massive plus is the location. Very easy walking distance to most of the tourist attractions.

Such a great location, the room was fantastic and the guest facing staff were wonderful, there is much good about this hotel its hard to list. I only have 2 complaints:
1. Our room was cleaned once after day 1 and then not again until check out (plus someone nicked my banana!)
2. We were given no cups to use with the kettle

"Nous avons adorez , c’est super beau , très propre . Pas vraiment un camping selon nos standards québécois , c’est plus un complexe. Restaurant très bien en plus vous avez une navette aller-retour qui vous apporte à 15 min à pieds du Vatican pour 5 euros !"

"Excellent hotel to be close enough to Rome but also far enough out to have outdoor space and a fantastic outdoor pool. Breakfasts very good. Rooftop terrace dining expensive but a lovely experience. Limited shuttle service despite claims on the hotel website. Nearest bus is also a hilly 15minite ..."
