This old farm house was just as promised. Rustic but clean and comfortable. My teens enjoyed hanging by the pond or exploring the battlefield locations nearby. The house was a short drive to everything Gettysburg related. The host had notebooks available showing nearby restaurants and things to do. We had a great dinner at one of the restaurants we found in the book. Highly recommend this home for families interested in Gettysburg.

Very peaceful and worth the money to stay here. Old farmhouse and a few things are expected with that. The property owners were very responsive to our questions. It was a great day!

We stayed there to attend a local wedding. The house was beautiful and well maintained. The location was perfect. Nice and quiet, no close neighbors and it was easy to find where you were going. Check in/out was super easy.

This was a perfect home to stay we were in Gettysburg for my Daughters wedding and the family stayed at the house. The location was so close to the venue and we got to visit the battlefields of Gettysburg. Loved that it had a fire pit and the kitchen was perfect for making meals there. Loved the old farm house feel with lots of upgrades.

We had a wonderful time in Gettysburg and our stay at the farm was awesome. If you are looking to stay at an old farm house with all the character that offers then this is your place! Every room has its own feel and helps bring a coziness to your stay. we would gladly choose this place again.

We gifted my father in law a trip to Gettysburg for his 80th birthday. And being a Huge civil war buff this house was the perfect place to stay. Right on the battlefields. A pond for fishing (which everyone loved) and a farm style house that was homey and quiet. It was a close enough drive to everywhere we needed to go but far enough away. The host was extremely responsive when I had questions prior to the visit. Everything was great and the house was perfect! If we ever come back, this is definitely where we want to stay! Thank you so much!!

Loved this property and highly recommend. Rustic, lovely, easy kitchen, and accommodating host were big assets. Right on the edge of a Battlefield, and an easy drive into town made this a very lovely time with family. Pond in the back and paddleboat were a big hit, and the fireflies put on an amazing show (that was a bonus!). Thank you much!

We loved this early 1900’s farmhouse! It was the perfect location for our visit to Gettysburg. Anna, the host, was so easy to contact with any questions we had and responded very quickly. The pond, barn and surrounding yard and fields were the perfect outdoor setting for being outside with coffee in the mornings or evenings. So relaxing. And the house has lots of charm character. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay.

Brought a group of 10 men to this property and stayed for 4 nights. The property was excellent. Plenty of space for a large group, and being able to have a fire was great. The property was clean and well-maintained. Owners were very accommodating and helpful with the few questions we had. Just a few minutes from the battlefield and downtown Gettysburg. This property will be top of our list to try and book for next year.

We had such a wonderful time in this house and in the Gettysburg area. The home was very clean and advertising correctly. The house is only 5 minutes from the center of town. We walked the property in the evening and it was beautiful! Eight adults stayed here and had plenty of room! The stairs we abit daunting for my parents ages 76-78 but we managed!

Spacious property with great outdoors and fire pit. Inside the house it is older, but in good condition and sufficient room. Kitchen is very basic. owners are very responsive to any reach out for information or concerns. Overall, a good place to say when visiting Gettysburg as the large outdoors and fire pit offer great relaxation.
Cheers.

This property is amazing for any and all groups. This beautiful and spacious home is accompanied by a wonderful yard that has a pond and a firepit. The location of the property is very nice because you get the space and serenity of the countryside and you are just a short drive from town. If your goal is for the walkability of Gettysburg this would not be ideal however, this place is a must stay. Counting down the days until I can return to Gettysburg and book this house again.

Our son was graduating from Gettysburg College so I needed a place for the grandparents and us to stay. This was perfect! Everyone enjoyed the solitude and the screened porch was popular for morning coffee. I especially appreciated the large dining room table where we all fit and could sit and reminisce. It was a wonderful weekend and having this “home base” was so much better than hotel rooms somewhere. Thanks for the wonderful weekend!

Our stay was very nice. The house was clean and the property was lovely. Walking around the pond was very peaceful. The beds were very comfy! The only issue we had was the lock on the door. It's a little tricky and lucky for us the owner was there when we were trying to lock it. They explained how the lock should work and we had no issues after. Otherwise, it was a wonderful and enjoyable stay. We have recommended the house to others and would be happy to stay there again.

Our family of seven stayed Fri-Sat in Sept 2024 and enjoyed this property and grounds. It's conveniently located just minutes from many attractions in Gettysburg, many dining options, retail options, grocery, etc.....but you wouldn't know it, it's beautifully peaceful!
My kids (age 9-19) enjoyed paddling around the pond and fishing (no catches, but they had fun). The pond does have duck weed, but our ponds at home do as well and know how difficult it can be to treat and maintain. It didn't impact our stay at all.
The screened covered porch was were we hung out after a busy day of tours and sightseeing. Great for playing the games they have at the house and quiet reading.
We would recommend this property if you appreciate some space to stretch out and some quiet after a busy day taking in historic Gettysburg.

A little late with this review, but we stayed from March 3-5 as a surprise trip for our son as he loves Gettysburg. The house itself is in a great location, close to several local areas including downtown Gettysburg. Great location for anybody wanting to tour the battlefield. The house is a lovely farmhouse with character. We were able to have a nice campfire Saturday evening, although the weather Friday and Saturday was not agreeable with wind and rain, we still had a great time and fully anticipated that the weather may not be great since we were staying in March. Overall, a great house with a nice outdoor space to enjoy and in a very good location. The road the house sits on was pretty quiet and is not a main road so cars don’t go that fast. Would recommend!

If you want to stay in a filthy rundown farmhouse this one is for you. The walls in the bathrooms had mold around the shower and toilet. The beds were absolutely gross. No mattress covers, sheets didn’t feel clean nor did they fit the beds. The cabinets in the kitchen were disgusting ( besides being I’ll equipped) do not recommend this place. If I could submit photos I would.
