Great stay in Gettysburg!

We stayed in the Stone House for our extended family vacation. We had a great time. The space was large enough to meet our needs - especially since one of the adults uses a wheelchair at all times. The entire downstairs was accessible and the bed and bathroom were well thought out. The kitchen was well furnished with plates, coffee pot(s) tea options and pans. The outside space is also beautiful with lots of room to seat everyone and for the kids to enjoy a green space. Thank you so much for thinking of everything!

Most favorite VRBO!

Very clean, pet friendly and plenty of space! We always stay here for the Golden Jubilee…even though it was cancelled this year, we decided to keep our booking and explore Gettysburg without the dogs. It’s a great Vrbo with or without pets! Love the fact that it’s a pre-civil war house!

Property was very clean. Location is walkong distance to shops, restaurants, and part of the Gettysburg Park. Neighborhood was quiet. Perfect for my husband's birthday trip with our dog!Would definetly recommend to friends heading to the area!

Property was very nice and clean. We could not get the TV in the large bedroom to connect to the WiFi. Parking was great. Street noise is very noticeable but it’s on the street so. Could accommodate many more guests than we had.

The best place to stay while in Gettysburg!

Hands down, the best house we’ve stayed at in Gettysburg so far! We were 3 guests and 1 dog (me, my husband, our almost 2 year old, and our dachshund.) The house had EVERYTHING and the location is great - close enough to walk to the square, yet far enough away where it wasn’t too noisy. The yard was beautiful, the bathrooms were clean and spacious, they even had a high chair in the closet! The kitchen had everything we needed too. We will most certainly be back next year.

Beautiful historic property!

We loved this beautifully appointed home. It was perfect for our family from grandparents to teens. The home was spotless and had huge bedroom suites to enjoy. We especially appreciated the main floor bedroom and bathroom suite, the 4 full bathrooms, the modern touches while anlso blending with the original charm, the fans, along with the well stocked kitchen. The outdoor space was beautiful; it was just unfortunately too hot to use this time. The location was perfect, walkable to dining and shops. We left our coins in the wall! We would highly recommend for a larger group trip to Gettysburg. Tiny suggestion would be maybe including a bench, slightly larger table, or more chairs to add seating to the kitchen. Amazing home!!

Historic Stone House

Beautifully restored stone house with all modern amenities. Within walking distance of Gettysburg Square with restaurants and shopping. Short drive to Gettysburg Battlefield. Really enjoyed our stay.

This place is the perfect spot for experiencing Gettysburg. A 2 min stroll and you’re in the town square, a nice 5 minute walk the souvenir shops on Steinwher it really is the perfect location. The house has everything we needed, will definitely be staying here again
