Nice, stay, even though the room wasn’t ready by 2pm, needs better parking for residents as there isn’t enough secure parking The hotel could do with a restaurant for dinner would make it a lot easier at night, other than that not bad

Hi Maddy, we work very hard to have rooms ready as soon as possible always aiming before 2pm, we have a system in place that will send out a text message when rooms are ready, of course this system only works if a mobile number is provided. An early arrival is always an option, worth calling our friendly team to assist.Regards

The property was lovely despite not actually being on the beach as is implied by the photos on their website. Also I was a little disappointed that only 3 devices were allowed for free internet. I think in this day and age most people have 2 devices each. I was unable to connect to work as I had planned.

Hello, thank you for your review, The picture clearly shows road signs and vehicles, apologies we aren't right on the sand, but you can't get any closer that's for sure!we have alternative codes for devices available at reception, just worth asking our friendly staff.

Location is really good and the lobby is nice. Rooms are dated and the mattresses are the softest I have ever experienced (and we travel a lot). Overall, decent but for the price and star rating, expected better.

Great value. Room with ocean view was excellent. Easy check-in/out. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very comfortable. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again on my next visit. Local shops and restaurants are a short walk across the street, however, there is a restaurant/ bar in the hotel, and room service is available. Secure parking. Great location. Highly recommended.

Don’t stay there.
The restaurant was closed. No local restaurants open .New years day. Found a noodle bay the only available place for takeout. Had to eat in our room off a saucer with a spoon. The room was in the basement opening on the car park The cars were parked 4 foot away from our door. The car park resembled a builders yard A hydraulic hoist was working all day enabling some alterations to be done. The noise was horrendous. You couldn’t hold a conversation. Why were we put in that room when the hotel was half empty.

Hi Neal, Every room is equipped with knives and forks, the restaurants being closed is out of the hotel's hands, we are refurbishing and i guess there is never really a good time to make noise, we were respectful enough to operate the equipment during working hours.

The room was nice enough but there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom which made it hard for showers and using the toilet otherwise we enjoyed it.

Great ocean views
Looked older from the outside in real life than the picture used to advertise it. Excellent ocean view. Limited parking. One free drink per person per stay. Very clean and comfortable.

Our stay was great and hotel is well located opposite the bay and close to restaurants and cafes. The only negative is the location of the room we were allocated being around the corner from the reception about 1.0m above street level. The room is clean and spacious but with one window looking directly to side of Coach parked on side street blocking the room.

Magnificent view from our balcony. Nice big room. Walk in wardrobe. Ultra modern bathroom. Plenty of space for toiletries etc.

Paid for ocean view but was very obstructed, mould on the ceiling in bathroom, room next to me was making early hours of morning and then someone vacuuming at 6 am hitting the wall, not a pleasant stay at all

Central Geraldton the Ocean Centre is a Aaa good c
Check in was very friendly and we were given an upgrade because staying 3 nights. Room was spacious and nice, everything clean and in order. Housekeeping was friendly and efficient. Only issue was difficulty in getting a secure car park. On a long weekend there were more cars than spaces

The ensuite could do with an exhaust fan as when you have a shower and trying to change in there, the moisture makes it too difficult

The image of the hotel room was much more pleasant than the real thing. Our room was on the lower ground and felt like it was in a subterranean basement that smelt like an old cellar. There was no fan in the bathroom and the only view out was directly onto the carpark - so whilst there was a car running or someone smoking the stinky air was sucked strait into the room. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean, but the overall ambience was very dank in our room.

great hotel and location
Up in Geraldton for a couple of days. Chose this hotel because we have stayed here before and location and generally a nice hotel are reasons for a repeat stay. Bed is very comfortable and bathroom quite modern. I do prefer a higher level for the view but forgot to request. Enjoyed the Sirocco bar and had some friends join us.(maybe not the pizza we had ordered cause it was pretty burnt and cold, but it was late. they order food in) . My only negative is there is a musty smell all through the hotel including the reception. Still will be my preferred stay when in Geraldton.

The hotel is not located at the beach as it would seem from the hotel photos. There is no ample car park in the hotel for guests and the oceanview is not available. The room service is not up to standard and service is poor. Room is also quite old and they don't even provide drinking water.

Hi James,Thank you for your review. Seems you missed the cars in the picture of the hotel and the give way signs, you are correct we are not right on the beach how hard would it be to keep the hotel clean if sand was brought into the hotel by every guest. Due to an increase in hospitality, we are full almost every night so no the ocean view rooms were not available, these are the first rooms to sell out due to the amazing view from the private balconies.
