"Visiting in September allowed us to see the colors begin to change! The Sonnenalp staff goes above & beyond to meet your needs! We had never been the Vail and did have questions about directions, locations, transportation, etc! The concierge was amazing in not only providing guidance but also making arrangements to make our stay so much more enjoyable! We hiked, rode the gondola, shopped, ate at so many of the area restaurants so easily accessible by walking, visited Ford Park, went horseback riding at Vail Stables, and more! So much to do—our 4- night stay was perfect, but we can’t wait to return in the winter.
The housekeeping staff was so attentive! Our room always smelled so clean! Honestly, the entire property looked and smelled clean and fresh! The restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner were so good—staff was engaging and great to talk with as well. I must admit, when making our initial decision to book we were deciding between the Sonnenalp & another very high-end, well known property. We consistently said how happy we were that we chose the Sonnenalp!! Can’t wait to return!!!"
"The hotel is located outside of the main village in a quieter area. Our room was beautiful and very well equipped. We would definitely stay here again."
