The cottage has a large open concept living area with a large window view of the river. Good fishing, boating and hiking. Marine railway, and Trent Severn locks near by. Quiet bay with little boat traffic. The cottage is situated in the heart of large pine and hardwood forest. Golf course near by.

Amazing spot for the famliy

We had a great couple of days here with our family. It was very peaceful and had all we needed for our stay. We even caught a few fish and enjoyed the water. Communication was great with the owner.

Cottage weekend getaway

My wife and I and a few friends loved this stay! It was so nice to get away from the busy areas and have a relaxing stay in such a beautiful, quiet, luxurious timber build cottage! 10/10 definitely coming back next year!

Fabulous Cottage

Beautiful and well equipped cottage. Huge deck for family dinners and relaxing. Lovely area for boating and site-seeing. Loved every minute of our vacation and can’t wait to come back.

Wonderful Place to stay

I have been in over 20 countries, many vacation places but this place is different. Fantastic lake view, clean place, boats, fire pit,... you cant wish for more. If you are looking for a scape from town for a few days, this is the best place. We will come back for sure!

PERFECT!

We loved our stay here. Beautiful cottage in great condition. John is super friendly and very helpful.We will be coming back next year!The Waubic and Riverhouse are two great restaurants nearby for some great food and atmosphere!

John is a great host. We throughly enjoyed our stay. The only hassle we encountered was at the Big Chute Marina. Talk to John about alternative parking for your truck and trailer.
