"We had an unforgettable three-day stay in Xandau. From the moment we arrived, Paul and Heidi welcomed us with such genuine warmth and kindness that we immediately felt at home. The cottage was wonderfully cozy, with a beautiful view and a crackling fireplace that made every evening feel special. The hot tub can be the perfect place to unwind while taking in the peaceful surroundings. We loved slowing down, preparing our own meals, and enjoying the quiet beauty of the area. Paul and Heidi’s thoughtful gift of fresh lobster was an especially memorable treat and we turned it into a delicious lobster cocktail for dinner. We also cherished the time we spent with their sweet dogs, Milo and Enzo. This was truly a special getaway, and we would gladly return. We’ll be recommending Paul and Heidi’s place to friends and family traveling this way. Their warm hospitality, cozy cottage, and beautiful setting made our stay one we won’t soon forget. Many thanks"

"Our hosts (including their two dogs Milo and Enzo) were friendly and welcoming throughout our entire two week stay. They offered suggestions on places to go and things to do, which we found very helpful. Their advice on availability of fresh seafood, and tremendous help in obtaining and preparing fresh lobster, made a real difference to our trip.The highlight for us was the location, which was right at the shore, allowing us to enjoy uninterrupted ocean views, and listen to the waves. Beautiful, no matter what the weather.It is very obvious the owners take great pride in what they have created here, and rightly so. Their tremendous landscaping efforts are clearly a labour of love.We had never been to Nova Scotia, and certainly will be returning."
