Other things to note:
REMOTE CABIN STUFF - Our cabin has satellite Starlink internet and therefore the connection can sometimes drop for a few seconds every hour or so. Not noticeable unless work from home with lots of long duration video and voice calls. Use your time at our home to disconnect from technology and embrace the beauty of the Rockies! - The Master Bedroom has low, sloped ceilings so please watch your head when going upstairs and walking around!
SNOW - During winter / spring months, we highly recommend a four-wheel drive vehicle to be able to easily park in our potentially snowy / icy driveway. Please plan accordingly as we do not offer refunds due to road conditions and incapable vehicles. The driveway is short at only about 50 yards from a county-maintained road that is well-plowed. Guests may have to shovel out (snow shovel provided) the driveway if there is a large snowstorm during the visit. Large snowstorms occur 1-5 times/season. It is recommended to be able-bodied during winter/early spring months.
WILDLIFE - Please do not leave trash and food outside as this will attract wildlife! Bears, elk, big horn sheep, and deer roam the area. However, encounters are rare. WIND - The cabin occasionally gets high winds, especially in the winter months, sometimes reaching up to 65 miles per hour. The noise from the wind can be quite noticeable. Ensure you and your guests understand that such conditions may exist during your stay. LANDSCAPE - The land can be uneven, rocky, and dangerous in the Rocky Mountains. Please be mindful of proper footing around the property.

Cute and quaint cabin in nature. Close to hikes and mountain towns. Loved our stay!!! (My sister has booked it already again for summer with her husband).
Had a wonderful time hiking the area, and the cabin was an amazing place to unwind afterward. The cabin and surrounding property are beautiful and well kept, would definitely stay here again if I am ever in Idaho Springs area again.
Came into town for a wedding on Echo mountain and this was the perfect location. Cozy, great location, clean and comfortable. Adorable little place with nice decor!
We enjoyed our 3 night stay in the travelers mountain home!! It was further into the mountain than we originally thought but it was so perfect because it was quiet, cozy and really peaceful. Every window has a beautiful view. The home is well maintained and the owners are quick to respond. We plan to come back again next winter!
Took my wife here for her birthday on a weekend trip. The property was great and came equipped with everything we needed and then some. Best part there was a booklet with recommendations on places to go, things to see, and coffee to drink. All recommendations were to notch, the place was great, i will likely rent again.
This location in great location and is close to town. There a creek across the street that can be hear when your sitting on the front porch.

Loved the location. Even saw a Moose across the road!! Our favorite place to hang out was the front porch. The bed was a bit low for us, as we are getting older, but we made it work. The house is very pretty and comfortable!
We had such a wonderful visit! The cabin was clean and communication with owner when I booked the wrong year was prompt. The location in the canyon is beautiful as well as accessible to restaurants and amazing outdoor activities! Our family is not able to get together that often and this cabin was perfect. So many amenities! We loved it!
We had a wonderful stay! The property offers stunning views and a very quiet, relaxing atmosphere. The host was incredibly accommodating and communicative from start to finish. I would absolutely stay here again.
We had a fabulous stay at this property. The house has been beautifully done and was perfect for what we needed. We were close to Idaho Springs, which we frequently enjoyed for dinners. We were also close to lots of great hiking in the area. I highly recommend this place for your next stay in the Idaho Springs area.
We had a great day at the property and really enjoyed our time outside Idaho Springs. A perfect little house for a staycation and we would love to come back!
This is a wonderful property in a great location. We enjoyed the front porch rockers, well appointed kitchen & excellent TV & WiFi.Off the beaten path & quiet even though it was on the road. Loved it.
Great cabin, nicely decorated, peaceful woods with creek directly across the street. We had a fabulous time and the things to do in the area are endless.
It was a good quiet house with plenty of room for a family of 4. The parking was easy but we only had one vehicle. My kids enjoyed being outside and there was enough room for them to play. It rained one night while we were there but the games that were in the upstairs bedroom created a fun memory for our family. The quick drive to the adorable and friendly Idaho Springs was easy and convenient addition to our stay.
