"This house has become our home away from home each year for my husband’s birthday weekend with local family."

"The house was small and had an odor of stale French fries which the owner tried to cover up. The owner lived in the basement of the house. There was no off-street parking. The owner controlled the thermostat from the basement. I just found out that the owner also charged us $25 for laundry. Yet there was no washer and dryer. Seriously - does anyone from VRBO do any type of inspection before they approve a house for rental?"
