Bliss on the Cove

We had an awesome time at this house. There’s a small beach right out front for morning/evening swims! Sea turtles greeted us every morning and the Kayaks were fun. Pool and restaurant at the Rusty Anchor are GREAT! I wouldn’t recommend walking to town and you definitely need a car to get around the cool beaches and water sports spots around the island!

Annual Girls Trip

It's a wonderful home. Accommodated six adults very comfortably. Waterfront and pool were great. Centrally located to gorgeous beaches.

Villa Mare

Really enjoyed our stay here. Great location, great for families. We stayed with a 7&5 year old. Pool was perfect for them, swam in the sea outside the house. Rooms all big and the kitchen was big. Perfect stay Staff were great at February Point as well. Would stay again

Excellent Location and Beautiful Home

We loved out stay at Villa Mare. We felt very safe with the gated entrance and the staff was so friendly. The home was full equipped with everything we needed. The AC was ice cold and we loved the use of the grill. This home is centrally located near everything. Highly recommend!!

We had a fantastic week over Christmas 2023. The house is spectacular and perfect for a family of 5. Private beach and a great location. This house is very clean and has tons of toys, like kayaks. I highly recommend this house.

A month in paradise

Villa Mare was perfect for our month of winter vacation in Exuma. The location was perfect & the view absolutely amazing. Everything was clean and operational. Sasha was quick to respond prior to our stay as well as once on island. February Point is a great neighborhood with amenities & friendly people.

Great Location

There were four of us that stayed at this property. The home was beautiful, clean and stocked with everything we could need. Plenty of toilet paper, stocked kitchen, beach towels (I think there were six), dishwasher soap, coffee filters. Communication with the property manager was easy. They were fast to respond and even checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. LOCATION! This place is perfect! It was super easy to get into town to hit the grocery and the Yacht Club. Getting to Little Exuma from here was a breeze as well. I feel like February Point is very centrally located. We had an incredible stay and would highly recommend this property!

50th Birthday trip

This place is perfectly located. 25min drive in either direction to either end of the island. The house is very roomy as we had 6 adults. The kitchen is nice size. Not overlly stocked with utensils but it has the essentials. The dining room table is huge which was good for us to spread out our daily treasures and eat and have great conversations. The pool right next door was basically our personal pool. The Rusty Anchor was probabaly the best place we ate at...twice. We appreciated the security of the community. We would stay here again. Thank you for helping us enjoy our first and definitely not our last girls trip to Exuma.

Perfect Location

The home is beautiful and the views are way better than the pictures if that’s even possible. The location was better than anything else we saw while on the island. It’s close to town in a gated neighborhood and the Rusty Anchor restaurant is just steps away. ( Best food we had during our stay). The home had everything we needed from beach towels to snorkel gear and was very clean and well kept. The host was always quick to respond and we will definitely be coming back. Would never stay at any other property. We drove from one end of the island to the other and did not find anything That we thought would have been better. For first time visitors….make sure to rent a car. Although town is a short walk, the best beaches and things to see were all amazing but not walking distance. And although just about everyone accepts Mastercard and Visa, you’ll need to keep a little cash on you for tipping the water taxi or boat captains if you decide to enjoy those activities.

Villa Mare review March 2025

Property and location are great. House was clean but needs some loving care. Kitchen stocked with cookware but needs dishes, utensils and glassware. Mostly plastic cups from beach bar. We enjoyed sitting on the upper deck at night with cocktails/wine but hated drinking out of plastic glasses. There is no safe for valuables when you go out. Only 2 curtain panels in bedrooms upstairs when they need 4 to fully cover. There is a window in 2nd shower with no way to cover it so showering was a little uncomfortable. Felt could have provided more towels but there is a washer and dryer. Would have been a nice addition if they had beach chairs for you to use. Snorkeling gear was provided but we did not use. The beach front was a big plus and we did spend our last day sitting there. Everyone we met in the area was great. House has a feeling that the owner had not been there in a while. No complaints about the host as she was very responsive. For the price of our stay here, expected a little more luxury.

First Time in Exuma

February Point was the perfect location for our family. It’s a gated community, close to town, had a beautiful beach club with a pool overlooking the spectacular turquoise water. It also has a spa, hot tub, restaurant and marina within the community. Villa Mare is a beautiful home right on the beach and next to a community pool. My only criticism is that the appliances need updating and some of the dishes are chipped We didn’t use the dishwasher, although we were told by the property manager that it worked, but the racks had rust on them which we felt was a hazard. The washer’s spin cycle wasn’t working properly (had to run through a couple times to get the water out) and the dryer just stopped working. Unfortunately the dryer couldn’t be repaired during our stay because the part had to come from the US. We enjoyed using the kayaks. In case anyone is looking for the beach towels, they are located in the entrance cabinet. We didn’t know they were there until the last day, luckily we brought our own. Exuma is a beautiful island with kind people. We will be back!

Location was in a beautiful, gated community. House was very clean and stocked will all the amenities that were needed! Kayaks were a huge bonus. The views were everything!! We feel like we had the best location on the island! Rate a 10/10!!

First time to Exuma

We had an incredible time in Exuma for Spring break. We’ve never stayed so close to the water before. Loved the convenience of the Beach Club (loved the Rusty Anchor) as well as the next door Infiniti pool.

Beautiful views

This house was great for us. We were pleased by the updated and larger showers compared to some of the other properties. We liked the amount of seating in the living room compared to other properties. Being right next to the pool is very nice. The property had lots of floats if you wanted to do that. There weren't many dish options in the kitchen but that's an easy fix. I would absolutely stay here again. Manager was great.

Great location on the water

The house is on a calm and quiet harbor, next to a community swimming pool. A short walk away is a much larger swimming pool, still inside February Point, on a different stretch of beach, next to a nice restaurant. It only takes a few minutes to drive into Georgetown. All in all, it was a great location and stay. The host was also very helpful when we needed to stay an extra night because of a canceled flight. we would recommend, however, window coverings on the bathroom windows.

Villa Mare was such a beautiful home in one of the prettiest areas on Exuma! The rental was very clean and cozy and had an amazing view. We will definitely go again and recommend it to anyone.

The house was beautiful, beds a bit hard and the water pressure isn’t great, but other than that, no complaints. House is clean and has everything you need as far as towels, cooking utensils, pots, pans etc. Sasha was very responsive, we needed propane for the grill and it was filled up the first day and the microwave must have tripped a breaker and that was fixed quickly as well. The location is great and the rusty anchor is a quick walk for good food. You do need a car to get around, even the close places in town aren’t really walkable as there aren’t sidewalks. The beach is a bit rocky so I would suggest water shoes. The kayaks were great, we used them as much as we could. Make sure to either buy or bring toilet paper, paper towels and paper plates. They won’t restock paper items during your stay. All and all 10 out 10 and would stay here again. Oh and the view from the backyard and upstairs balcony is amazing and so relaxing. We did get there late in the day and had a hard time finding the home in the dark, I would suggest the host have someone leave the porch light on if you’re going to arrive after dark, but once we found the house and used our phone flash light to open the lock box it was smooth sailing.

Tranquil house

This villa is located in upscale community near George Town. We enjoyed the pools and the restaurant on the property. House was very comfortable and updated. There were snorkeling gear and kayaks for out use. The big plus was the water cooler provided by the owner, we didn’t need to worry about buying drink water. We will definitely like to come back to this villa.

Great stay in February point

My teenage son and I spent 5 nights and it wasn't long enough! The villa has everything we needed and the view cNt be beat. The turquoise water outside our door was heavenly. I will be back. Sasha made sure we had what we needed but she wasn't intrusive. It was an ideal vacation.

First timer to Exuma

Very well appointed house, larger than i expected given 3 bedrooms. While exuma felt very safe the neighborhood felt particularly so, and this was important since were were traveling with kids. Beautiful views from bedrooms. Kayaks were a big plus. One suggestion would be to include a couple of portable beach chairs which would have been very handy given there are quite a few beautiful beaches on the island to visit. Overall an excellent house and very happy with our stay.
