Great location, right in downtown of Genoa, close to everything. I did feel there were too many things to fill out at the beginning but it was worth it at the end. Clean and with well written instructions for everything.

Oh dear. Having worked in hospitality and tourism for close to 30 years, I always try to find the positive when things go wrong but booking this apartment was a huge mistake. We arrived late on a Monday to find that it wasn’t the apartment that we’d actually booked on Expedia - it didn’t bear even a close resemblance - however we thought best make do and then speak to the agent the following day. Unfortunately by that point we’d found a seemingly endless list of snagging points including leaking shower door and various broken elements in the bathroom; a ripped curtain and curtains that weren’t big enough to block the windows; and - worst of all for a self-catering apartment - the most scratch/damaged cooking pans I’ve ever seen including a pasta pan with a handle missing and two chunks out of the side. Anyway, we made a list and took photos then headed to the agents offices the next morning to put things right, only to find there was no identifiable business at the address given so I Whatsapped everything to them. They said they’d remedy damaged items, however we went round in circles about not being given the apartment we’d booked on Expedia that culminated in being told along the lines that ‘we should count ourselves lucky that we’d got an apartment for the price we’d paid’ with the inference that it was cheaper than a shared hostel dormitory (which it clearly wasn’t and was a moot point anyway). Having been patronised in the extreme we decided to check out. Buyer beware!

BE AWARE: The apartment we checked into was completely different to the pictures advertised on Expedia. We did not get what we paid for and are very disappointed with the lack of explanation, apology and compensation from the owners/managers and Expedia. This is false advertising and I would discourage anyone from staying at this property as it does not look like this – there is no natural light or windows with views, no dining table, no marble kitchen, the living area is less than half the size and the furnishings do not look like this. The check-in process was also very tedious. Apart from all of this, the location was great and the apartment was clean and well equipped, but not for the price advertised. I hope the owners update the images before anyone else experiences the same disappointment.

Très bon séjour

L'appartement est parfaitement bien situé, à égale distance entre les 2 gares, il permet de visiter la ville et les environs facilement. Autour, des restaurants, des boulangeries, des supermarchés... L'appartement est confortable, neuf, spacieux et propre, car contre les photos ne sont pas celles de l'appartement (à voir sur les sites concurrents). Excellente insonorité intérieure (entre les appartements), par contre, malgré un double vitrage de qualité on entend beaucoup les clients de la terrasse du restaurant d'en face. Dommage d'avoir déposer les volets, ca aurait coupé un peu plus le bruit. Une cafetière à pods ou un percolateur serait un plus, je ne maitrise malheureusement pas l'art du café moka. Merci à Manuela pour l'assistance constante et le check-out tardif.
