"One of our most favorite parts about staying at hotels is getting to enjoy free continental breakfasts and free coffee all day long. So, of course, we excitedly woke up the kids and rushed downstairs to go and enjoy the morning with a delicious breakfast. To our dismay, we discovered that breakfast is $19.99 a person. Or if you charge it to the room $15.99 a person.. And you can't just go and get lemon water or coffee thru out the day, which is wild to me... The next issue is that i spent almost $500 on a "suite," and the kitchenette was completely empty. No plates, no dish soap, no nothing. I've never stayed in a suite that didn't provide those basic amenities.... What is the point of having a kitchenette if you have to bring your own stuff. As a person who only rents suites, this is the most mediocre and overpriced experience coming from a hotel that presents itself as being so nice and fancy.... I have stayed at so many places and spent so much less money on a way better experience/environment. You know i hate that im complaining so much, but it really was disappointing. There were so many drunk people down in the lobby partying that me and my special needs daughter and I felt so nervous about going anywhere in the building. Last night, they were screaming and banging things around in the room below us. Thankfully, we always bring fans, which helped muffle all the noise.... The saving grace was the pool. I'm so glad the kids at least got to enjoy that. "

"All of it! Clean place, everything is so fresh. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Lots of options for breakfast and so close to spire. Great idea sticking a hotel right there. Having a kitchen in the rooms is amazing…it’s so expensive to eat out every meal and that’s typically why we stay in airbnbs mostly. But this was a game changer. Thank you!! Will be back for sure "

"This was a wintertime "staycation" on the lake. I was blessed to be able to bring my dog with me to smell all of the great smells of lake erie. He thoroughly enjoyed that.Being wintertime after the holidays, most of the shops, restaurants, etc were closed, but I brought groceries for the duration. There is a dollar general very close to the rental for any of the items i might have forgotten. Upon arrival, the rental seemed clean. We found a few things and alerted the owners. Anything that came up on the trip, they responded and responded quickly. Very much an ideal host. The internet was acting slowly upon arrival (5 mbps) and they corrected it quite quickly to get the 100mbps that the rental should be getting. The beds were very nice. Each room had its own temperature management. The kitchen seemed to have most of what we needed for cooking. The furniture is a quite dated and worn and the TV in the living room is quite small, but overall it was a great experience. I would recommend to anyone looking for great views on lake erie in the middle of the geneva-on-the-lake strip."
