Not only is it in the beautiful Lake Cumberland region, but there is also a lot of Civil War history to explore within a reasonable drive. Also recommend a one block stretch in "old" Monticello that has an awesome museum, and The City Pool Hall for an amazing cheeseburger."

"The view from the deck is amazing. The beds were very comfortable, more than any that I've ever stayed at. It was nice to have a fenced-in yard for our dogs. It was within 20 minutes of numerous restaurants, Walmart, and Kroger. The game room was a lot of fun. We especially enjoyed playing Pac-Man. The family room off the deck was nice and big, very comfortable, had a nice TV, and a great view. That's where we spent a lot of time, and loved it."
