"Nice clean comfy rooms, the shower was very nice. Unfortunately the restaurant was undergoing refurbishment but the club next door was only 10 metres away. "

"The Good: check in and parking was easy. We checked in late and found the SMS instructions to get the key from the keysafe very clear. Bed linen and towels were clean - which was a relief. Soap, shower gel and shampoo/conditioner was all fine. The Ugly: bathroom looked clean and could tell it was renovated. However we could tell it wasn't clean - did have marks on tiles that should have come off with a scrub. There was black muck on the shower screen that would come off with bleach. Carpets were dirty and had stains. Chairs also had stains. The split system had a damp smell when we turned it on for heating - didn't end up using it. There was mould at the foot of the bar fridge and ice built up. The property has visible damage at various places such as door frames and corners of walls and bathroom mirror. The property is a bit rundown. This property really isn't a hotel, it's a motel. I only chose it as it came up in the filters I chose - so perhaps it's classified incorrectly. It has potential but it was apparent that the inside was cheaply renovated / masked. The reception staff were okay; not super friendly but had clear communication. I spoke to them on the phone only and didn't have much more interaction. Overall, we we chose the property as it was close to what we needed, but felt uncomfortable when we got there."

"Cute compact little cottage with everything we needed for our 1 night stay. Nice & warm on arrival, & tucked away @ the back of the hosts home, with a lovely garden. Close to cafes, shops & restaurants. You can leave your car in the driveway & walk to them.We enjoyed our stay. "

"DANGEROUS HEALTH HAZARD: Parasite Risk, Filth, unpleasant. Stayed 3 times for work, but never again. This hotel is a severe health and safety nightmare. Health & Water: The water quality is appalling. After using the tap on my last day, I suffered a violent gastrointestinal reaction. The shower water is so harsh it "burnt" my skin barrier. The room provided a rusty, broken kettle, forcing me to use my own spring water until it ran out. Safety & Hygiene: Every stay involved cockroaches and thick dust. The environment feels unsafe; a window was smashed during my stay, and the clientele is often "shady." As a solo woman, I felt completely vulnerable. Management & Service: "Tegan" was dismissive and unpleasant. I requested a ground-floor room days in advance for a project involving heavy lifting from my van. Despite being the first to check in, I was ignored and given a top-floor room on the loudest side, while later arrivals, including a younger man in foot with a backpack - got ground-floor spots. This negligence & lack of compassion caused me severe physical strain and body damage. Environment: The property is trashed with cigarette butts. Staff sprayed weed killer directly behind me without warning; he wore a mask while I was forced to inhale fumes. Road noise is deafening 24/7. With no fly screens, you must choose between a room full of bugs or stifling aircon. Avoid at all costs. This is a genuine health risk and an out-of-pocket disaster. I will be taking further action."

"The fruit was not freshly cut. The fresh juicer was broken. There were no glasses placed near the juice bar. The chicken sausages placed in the same heating compartment so if you can't eat pork, you can't eat the chicken sausages either. The rooms were very dusty and the hallway hadn't been vaccumed probably for months. On the plus side the staff were very helpful and accomodating which made my stay nice. Also, the lighting in the rooms are very poor"
