"The Grand Hotel Excelsior Amalfi is situated higher up in Amalfi with stunning views. The hotel staff are very helpful and the free hotel shuttle to and from Amalfi city centre is a plus. The hotel room charge includes breakfast that is quite good. The pool is nice and clean. We were guests mid-May so did not get to go to their private beach. I highly recommend this hotel!"

"We had a wonderful stay at this 4-star hotel in Ravello on the Amalfi Coast. Everything exceeded our expectations from the moment we arrived. The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The highlight was definitely the exceptional view — absolutely breathtaking and one of the best parts of staying in Ravello. We also really enjoyed the large outdoor swimming pool, which was perfect for relaxing and taking in the beautiful surroundings. "Location is good and it’s newly renovated. Breakfast was included and the staff is helpful scheduling transportation to Positano or Revello. The days we were here there were many Ferry cancellations seemingly due to rough wave action on the various docs. The big boats could ride the waves better but it’s the docking experience seems to be a challenge during large swells in the ocean. The hotel was excellent in helping to create the backup plans."
