Perfect Gatlinburg Geaway

This property was perfect for a large family vacation! The house offered ample space for every guest. The amenities were bountiful and well planned. The home was absolutely beautiful!

Wonderful property

I booked this wonderful place for myself, my sons, and their families. There were 10 of us. The house was very spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, and pool table almost daily. I agree with other guests on the gorgeous views and great location yo everything. We all highly recommend this place!

Family Fun

We really enjoyed this property. It is close to the strip. We loved the back yard and hot tub. We used the fire pit every night and played bag toss. It was great family time.

Great weekend

Great!

Our 2nd time staying here. We had 4 couples and there’s plenty of room for everyone. Everything is on one level, which is very convenient for my handicapped father. Perfect location, and we always love the bear visits!

Family Ski Trip

Accommodations could not have been more perfect for our family of 10 adults and 2 children. The house was perfect for privacy when needed and family gatherings by the fireplace. The location was perfect for enjoying Ober Gailinburg Ski Resort and shopping/eating downtown. My family stated this was our best all-around trip thus far. King Bear can expect us again!

Fun area.

Nice rooms, kitchen, location, hot tub. Good with the bear warning as a family did come through the yard. Vacuum was clogged but were able to fix.

Wonderful, beautiful place to relax, go hiking and shopping is just down the road. Quite & Peaceful!

Enjoyed the time with family. Everyone had their on roomw/bathrooms. So much fun playing pool and enjoying the a fire indoors and outside too! Blessings to you for everything! Hoping to come back next year!

Perfect Home Away From Home

I can't say enough great things about our experience at this stunning property! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how beautiful and well-maintained the home is. A family gathering

We had our annual gathering of the tribe this year in Gatlinburg for a day at Dollywood. The home was perfect as our group includes a 95 year old and a disabled member. We had a great time and enjoyed visits by 3 bear cubs one day and one on another, so follow instructions about outdoor spaces and the trash because they definitely know where the hot spots are.

Amazing property

We had 4 generations staying in this home and it was perfect for my father-in-law that has a walker. It was also perfect because it has a master bedroom on one side of the house which was used for our niece and her family, which included a 3 month old. The rest of the family stayed on the other side of the house allowing some quiet for the baby. Overall, this was one of the best properties we have stayed at and we will definitely be back!

Amazing house!

The Franklin Lloyd Wright design is iconic and flows so well. The bedrooms all with their own full bathrooms is wonderful for multi-family trips. The backyard area and views were immaculate for family pictures, a Mountain View, and plenty of places to run around and park. We saw more bears in the yard than all of our the trips to Gatlinburg combined. They were not a bother to most of us, they just kept eating the floor mats, must have been delicious. One of our favorite spots we’ve been in, so convenient to the strip.

This place is awesome! Host responded quickly when we had an issue with the heat. It turned out to be "operator error" by us! The bedrooms are very spacious. The fireplace was so nice. This place is everything advertised! Thanks to the host! We will stay here again.

Location!, Location!, Location!

Wonderful girl's trip to enjoy Gatlinburg and the great Smoky Mountains enhanced by this lovely property. GREAT location making Gatlinburg very walkable. Ample space for all and comfortable beds. Wish to see bears was granted as walked up the hill from downtown! Only reason for 4* rating is lack of expected amenities in the bathrooms - Kleenex, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryers (in all bathrooms), etc. Would highly recommend this property.

Euchre Group Vacation

The layout of the house was great for 4 couples and the kitchen was big and had everything you needed and more. The house’s location is nice for views and short distance to drive to town, but really is not walkable unless you are young and in great shape ( too steep). The house needed a more through dusting ( headboard and under beds). And the hot water heater for the front of the house kept kicking off. I would stay there again.

Military reunion

There was 3 couples and 1 widow. We meet each year for a Vietnam reunion. We really loved this house and location was great except us older people couldn’t walk to town 😊the house was equipped with everything we needed. The owner was great. First day no hot water but we had hot water in a few hours after we contacted him. Would come back.

Amazing!!!!

This house is perfect! We had 8 adults and 4 kids, and everyone had plenty of room. The house is in a prime location. You can walk to all of Gatlinburg (although it's a steep hill back up!), the river and hiking trails. It's also close to the bypass, so when you are going to dollywood you can go around all the Gatlinburg traffic. The house has everything you need, and the owners are very responsive if you need anything. And the yard is huge and flat so the kids had a great time playing! And we saw multiple bears, and even a bobcat! We highly recommend this house, and will stay here again on our next trip to Gatlinburg!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

We stayed here for my son's 21st birthday with family and friends and had an amazing time. The home was perfect with the 5 bedrooms and lots of bathrooms. Loved the layout of the house. There are bears. Have we got funny/hilarious stories, yes!! So relaxing to just sit outside and enjoy nature. We will definitely be back and are planning for next September. The house has too many amenities to mention. Our stay was perfect. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Great location

The property was as described. The accommodations were great. Kitchen well appointed. Starters of everything, including firewood. The level property was great for our group as we had kids and older adults. Played cornhole almost daily. The heating/cooling system was tricky to figure out, but ok once we did. Ample parking. Very close to downtown but not ideal for walking...very steep and winding road. Bears visited in the yard on 2 different days. Ample outdoor seating. Hot tub was perfect. Have to pull up on joystick of video games to make it work. Overall, it was a great stay, and we hope to be able to do it again next year.

King Bear

Overall, everyone in our party enjoyed the property. Great backyard, hot tub, fire pit and bedrooms were large with bathrooms in each. The additional bathroom was also very nice for people to use when their respective bathroom/shower was in use. We saw bears everyday - one affectionately named "Tater" since he was there every day and other larger bears that were not as "social" which was good. A couple quick suggestions would be to have hangers in the closets, additional toilet paper, garbage bags, and paper towels since a large group of people go thru them quickly (before our store run) although we were fine with those provided. Overall, a great stay and we would stay again in the future! Owner was quick to respond to any questions or problems we had.
