Thanksgiving in the Smokies

This home was as presented, great views, easy parking. Three king beds offered comfort for all the adults, bathrooms were spacious and clean. The kitchen offered everything we needed to easily prepare meals. The kids enjoyed the hot tub as well as the pool. Super nice and attentive host. A great family vacation, hope to visit again.10/10

Great Stay In the Mountains

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The cabin was very clean and exactly as described! The owner of the property was very easy to get ahold of and the location was great for everything we wanted to do and see. 10/10 recommend checking this property out!

Peaceful respite.

The bedrooms and baths were beautiful; the views from the decks were vast. Our grandson has definitely become quite the pool shark! The bear sightings were plentiful!

Family Vacation

The views from this property are gorgeous. We did get video of a bear. Property owners were very responsive with all our questions. The guys loved playing pool every night, enjoyed sitting outside on the balconies. Would highly recommend this property and the locatipn to everything we wanted to do in the area.

Getaway in the Smokies

Property is close to everything and very clean. A few minor things that I let Larry know of need to be addressed, but nothing that really affected the stay. This is a big house with lots to do and close to Gatlinburg.

Smokey Mountain Vacation

We had a great time ! Property was exactly as described in listing and more . Very clean host thought of everything a family may need during there stay . Close to all the popular attractions . Views were amazing ! Would highly recommend using Instacart with Food King for groceries , delivered in less than a hour . Thank you for the wonderful stay . We will be back !!!

Clean house with great views

The house is clean and new with all essentials kitchen amenities. The living room pool table was a big hit and great way to bring everyone together. The kids loved the video games and we all enjoyed the 3 decks that offer spectacular views. When not at the cabin its a short drive to Gatlinburg or pigeon forge.

Smoky getaway

Beautiful property with great views! Short scenic drive into town but far enough away to escape the crowds. Awesome swim spa, hot tub, and arcade room for the kids. Got to see bears and cubs in the area. We arrived a little early and it was downpouring rain. The host was excellent to communicate with and allowed us all to check in early. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home and views!

The views from this home were absolutely stunning! The drive up was a little scary, but well worth it. The home was beautiful and well appointed. We had everything we needed for the week with the hot tub and the swim spa. Larry was very responsive and quick to help when we had a slight issue with the swim spa. The kids loved seeing the bears every day! I would definitely recommend this home to anyone with a family who is looking to stay in the area.

Had an absolutely amazing stay at this property. Beyond spacious for 8 women. Home was very clean and exactly as picture's presented. The views were absolutely breathtaking from every angle from the sun rising over the town below to the fog rolling in on the mountains. Michelle was an amazing and responsive host and the cleaning rules were simple and easy. I've already been asked several times for the link to rent. We will most certainly be back. Also to note if taking a scenic walk there are in fact bear cubs and mama's that will make a visit as we saw 3 and their mother this weekend go through vehicle's in our parking lot.

Beautiful over all stay

Beautiful look deep in the mountains. Everything was stocked as listed with starter kits. Few down falls for the property are; ants coming out of the wall outlets in the kitchen, a good amount of ants. Surfaces were still pretty dusty. Maybe we were the first users in a little bit. Basement shower leaks, really bad, pillows were very ran down and had stains on the sheets/pillow cases. Positives; offers hot tub and “pool”. Kitchen was fully equipped. We did see bears while in the cabin.

This place is better than home!

First, I want to say, "I HIGHLY RECOMMEND" this rental. We had every comfort of home plus waaaay more. We had games to entertain us (e.g., video games, billiard, poker table, cards, etc.); we relaxed in the swim spa and the spa; and we cooked/grilled more than we would've had we been home. Secondly, this place is plenty spacious for 8 people to spread out or to come together; lots of sitting areas inside and out and has comfortable work spaces for working remotely. I appreciated the high-end decor, well-made furnishings, laundry areas, and quality linen. I have stayed in VRBO places before, and it is highly unusual for owners to invest so much in a place to be rented. It is clear to me that the owner(s) wants renters to have a great experience, and it is also clear that no photos will do this place justice. In fact be you forewarned that you may want to stay in the chalet rather than go out. We were grateful for a rainy day because we enjoyed just being inside. Finally, the location was GREAT for us. We had daily activities at Gatlinburg Convention center, which was easy to get to from the chalet (the route keeps you out of traffic). We were far enough from crowds and high enough to see black bears daily in the parking area and to and from the chalet. Plus, Pigeon Forge is less than 25 minutes away; Food City grocery store is about 20 minutes away; and, one of our family favorites, Mad Dog's Creamery & Donuts is on route to Food City (you absolutely must go to Mad Dog's).

Just OK...

Overall, the home was nice. We enjoyed the views, pool, and hot tub! We saw bears daily, which was unnerving at first, but they didn't bother anyone. Great photo ops! Great to have three king master beds with attached bathrooms. We enjoy the area, and what Gatlinburg has to offer, but would likely not rebook here. What I would have liked to know going in is what I'm sharing here... The dishes, etc. didn't look clean, so I washed them. The silverware was on top of paper towels in the holder, the holder was filthy. The top of the fridge was full of dust as well as most light fixtures and lamps. The towel warmer racks didnt work. One of the bidets was not working. The dishwasher was coming out of its space. The fan in one bedroom was not working. A few burned out lightbulbs. Only one small couch in the living space, which was not comfortable. Surprised the dining table was actually outside patio furniture. Paint touch-up needed in bunk bed room. Nails poking out of front door and baseboards in other areas too. I let the manager know of some of these things, but we preferred no maintenance while we were there.

Family Vacation

My family and I recent visited this cabin and I must be honest; it was very underwhelming. The photos showed a very promising cabin, along with positive reviews, that would have been perfect for my family. But when we arrived, it was severely disappointing. Prior to the check-in, I had messaged the host, asking the stair situation as I have a 10-month-old that is beginning to crawl, and we were using a third party for baby rental gear so I wanted to know how many gates I would need to rent. I received no response until an automated reply after our first night. The pool itself was unclean with no chlorine tablets in the floating dispenser. I tried contacting the parent company but the contact info given in the email was not working. Furthermore, the "pool" water was cloudy/greenish in color, unlike the clear water in the hot tub. Beyond that, the door leading into the pool area would not turn nor close, and the hinges were so rusted that they appeared to be on the verge of falling apart. Also, a realtor portfolio for the same property we were stay at was left on the living room coffee table, so I am unsure if the current owners are trying to sell the property or not. There are more things that were upsetting with this property, but I only get 1500 characters to write a review but what I have mentioned were the major concerns that I dealt with initially (plus the house construction right next to our bedroom). I will be glad to add photos if needed.

Grand Vacation

This was a lovely home. We have vacationed in previous years in the same area on Bear Cub Way, but at one of the other homes. This vacation and home was much nicer and cleaner. The pool was clean too!! As always, the kids got to say many, many bears without leaving the cabin. Lol. Make sure you lock your car doors and doors to cabin! There were no issues. Next year if we do not choose a location closer to town, we will reserve another date with Serenity Summitt.

Worth the drive!!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful mountain cabin! The views from every angle were absolutely stunning, and the home itself was spotless and stocked with everything we could possibly need. The hosts were great—checking in during our stay to see if we needed anything and even gave great restaurant recommendations. The welcome guide was thoughtfully put together and answered any questions we had.We really appreciated the heads-up about the steep drive up; it was helpful to be prepared. But the breathtaking views made it more than worth it—and to top it all off, we even spotted a bear on our drive back one evening and again on our way out of town, which was such a memorable moment for our family!Thank you for making our first family trip stress-free and so enjoyable!

Great visit

The place is conveniently located near downtown Gatlinburg & Smokey Mountain National Park. The drive to get to those places though not a lot of miles, does take some extra time since you are driving up or down a mountain. The views were great and allowed for some awesome views of lightening during a night storm. It did rain a few of the 7 days we were there, having the indoor pool worked out great. Lastly, we cooked all of our dinners at the house. It was well equipped with everything needed.

Family get away

The cabin was exactly as described - beautiful and easy to check in and out. Our teenagers loved the pool, pool table, and game room. The owner also checked in with us to ensure everything was going smoothly. We highly recommend it. We had a visit by a bear two of the three nights we were there. He was going through neighbors garbage and coolers they left on the porch. Kids loved seeing a bear in the wild but I don't recommend leaving trash or coolers outside.
