No Wi-Fi or cellular signal in the family room had my teenager upset the whole week. The hotel has a nice pool and the staff are kind and friendly. A car is essential as the beach and town are not close by.

Retour vers le passé !!! L arnaque total le prix d’un 5 étoiles pour un bouiboui de brics et de brocs des années 60 bref!!! Petite piscine de joyaux réparée avec la ligne d’eau graisseuse douche pseudo spa cassée joints moisissures, relative propreté au niveau de la chambre bricolée en Rez de jardin à fuir si vous êtes de se siècle l arnaque façon st tropez

for the price I paid- the hotel was sub-par. I understand it’s saint tropez and location is key, but the lock on the door was barely functional and quite difficult. The room needs a serious update and I paid for parking- yet there were no spots available when I arrived from a night out.

Great hotel and great staff. The owner was always around and very helpful. Is located 3 min from the sea. However if you don't have a car is far from the main area with the restaurants and stores. Wouls stay again for sure.

This was a fantastic property with wonderful Provencal style and we had a great stay. The owner was incredibly helpful, chilled and friendly. I would highly recommend others to stay.

A short trip to Saint Tropez
The room is pretty big and comfortable, breakfast is great. It takes only approximately 12 mins drive to downtown.

Nice hotel friendly staff close to sea
We came off, off season so my experience will be different. We arrive about 7 and found the hotel closed. Called and got owner to let us in. Some confusion on Expedia payment not received. Walked me thru the key codes to access the gated parking, the key code to the entry and then our room. We received an upgraded room gratis. Nice patio area to relax. Our room was blasé but absolutely fine. Clean. Comfy bed for the hotel class. Small shower! Only big issue for us was the smell in the toilet which we think was from the sewer and it being low season and not much use. During high season I could imagine this is a very pretty property. Lots of greenery and climbing vines. Found a little hideaway setee. We didn't use the facility to its most so I can't comment on amenities or food quality. Our experience was pleasant aside from the sulfur smell.

Overpriced & overrated
This is no way worth the money. The room was dirty and faulty air-con. We had a second room booked and our son turned up late due a delayed flight and could not get into his room. This is despite us asking if we could take the key. We were still charged for this as well. NEVER - NEVER AGAIN!!

All good and enjoyed location especially. Frustrating at check outility when tried to charge me when I'd paid already through Expedia. They had the reservation but something at their end not complete. Not a big one just caused me some angst as we were running late for a train etc...clean and worth the money.

Expensive experience
I know it's the south of France, but we stayed in other nice hotels (not small villa's like this one), like the Renaissance in Aix-en-Provence, which were far better value. The family room has a pull-down sofa which has seen better days, and also takes up most of the available free space in the room. The shower room was a bit on the small side, as was the swimming pool. There were also quite a few ants which welcomed us in the morning following our first night's sleep.... On the plus side, the owners were very friendly & helpful.

Awesome customer service!!
The customer service was outstanding! My boyfriend and I werent worried about reserving a 5 star bc we wanted to be outside the whole time. When we needed a taxi to town, the owner of Villa Maya gave us a ride and even picked us up from the bar when we were ready to come home. We like to drink so he warned us that cops will stop you and give you a breathalyzer in the middle of the street if you drive. Sure enough, we saw it happening to people as he was driving us to town. To get a taxi would be quite expensive so he took us and only charged us a small portion compared to taxi rates. Super awesome couple who runs this joint. It is a little bit older of a place but super clean and it was fun to hang out with a local couple. The gentleman even took us to Nikki Beach and introduced us to one of his connections. Amazing service!!

WOW A Magnificent Stay!!!
WOW it was a Magnificent stay!!! The hosts were fantastic, friendly, helpful and accommodated us in every way. The room was elegant, comfortable and very clean. The location was also great and conveniently close to everything!! When I return to St. Tropez this is where I will be staying!!

Great place to stay
Quirky, inexpensive, little hotel with cute little rooms across the street from the water and close to downtown St Tropez. Good service and friendly staff. Highly recommended because of the price and location as compared to the normal overpriced St Tropez hotels.

Great service!
Good stay for 2 nights during off season. We got a 2 bedroom room for the price of a normal one and the service was very friendly. Breakfast was very basic. Traffic also quite loud.

Very nice staff and location.
Lovely hotel, about 10 mins from the heart of St Tropez by car. Extremely nice staff and breakfast was great, although I didn't realise I hadn't paid for it when booking and when invited for breakfast I was later charged which was a surprise but that is my fault. Would stay in again.

Sweet gem in St. Tropez
Small boutique hotel with warm and inviting staff. Perfect location as it is right before the port, avoiding the craziness. I would recommend for a low key and relaxing stay, not a party place.

The stay was great. They have two pools to choose from. Paid breakfast is available if needed, but only basic cereal and bread etc. We stayed for three nights, our rooms were not cleaned on the second day, when we asked they said they had been busy? The distance to central St Tropez is about a 20 min walk, however we did rent bikes so that was fine. The villa owner then helped us take our bags to the bus station, which was great! It was value for money compared to what you can pay in St Tropez.

Wonderful Experience
My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights. The husband and wife team who own and operate Villa Maya are very friendly and accomodating. The hotel is cute, clean, and in a great location. The address of this hotel is "Gassin," but the hotel is actually on a main road leading right into St Tropez. The village center is a 15 min walk (or 5 min car ride), making Villa Maya a great bang for your buck. Beaches are a 10 min drive (or 20 min bike ride). **Highly recommend**

Amazing experience at La Villa Maya.
We decided at the last minute to visit the area. We lucked out when we found La Villa Maya. The B&B recently changed owners and the new owners were so gracious and friendly. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and to accommodate our needs during our stay. This is a gem. The rooms are beautifully decorated. It is a short drive from St. Tropez. I highly recommend this B&B to anyone who wants a special experience while visiting the South of France.

Il faut revoir votre système de réservation parce que j'ai réservé une chambre avec un canapé lit pour 3 et lorsque nous sommes arrivé il n'y avait qu'une chambre pour 2 donc payement sur place un plus pour une personne. Mes amis pareil !!! Résa pour 4 et payement pour 2 en plus sur place. Ce n'est pas très honnête de faire des tarifs et une fois sur place devoir payer davantage les taxes de séjours. C'est abusé et pas agréable.

La llegada al hotel fue un desastre porque por diferentes razones llegamos a las 23h. Esto no le gustó al recepcionista que me reclamó por la hora. Al día siguiente fue más cordial y simpático y pareció ir todo mejor, pero la bienvenida no fue buena.

Salle de bains sans serviette, savons ni papier toilette. Pas préparée. Un robinetterie de lavabo qui aurait dû être change depuis 10 ans. Une télé en panne changement de chambre a 21h. Un cadre tôle ondulée. Très déçus. Un repas cher 26€, pas de cuisine maison mais concerne, un dessert pas totalement décongelé. J'ai refusé le petit déjeuner 15€.
