"A lovely unique property full of character. Very friendly and helpful staff. Being an old building with many original features it has its flaws but they add to its charm. All beautiful original windows so no double glazing. They rattle if it’s windy! Our room got very hot even with the radiator turned off due to the old water pipes. We opened the windows and issue was largely solved. The views over Menai Strait were spectacular. The restaurant is excellent and well worth making a reservation. We had dinner there on one evening and the menu was both original and beautifully presented. Service also faultless. This is an "

"Not the smartest hotel in the world but it makes up for this by the friendliness of the welcome with good sized clean and comfortable rooms that have an individuality not found in modern hotels. The barroom downstairs has a good selection of drinks and there are bar billiards tables. Just be aware there is no lift so stairs to rooms must be managed. After a good nights sleep breakfast awaits exactly as you ordered it"

"We really enjoyed our short stay in this very well equipped and stylish apartment. It was comfortable, stylish and a delight to stay there. The apartment was also well prepared. Whoever is doing the cleaning did a great job. It is well located between Menai bridge and Beaumaris. The garden and hot tub were also a nice bonus. The most spectacular thing though is the view of the straits. Constantly changing with the tide and the weather they are just beguiling. Hopefully we will return soon.
