We loved our stay at this very nice cabin in the middle of no where. The view from the back deck with the creek was so peaceful and we enjoyed eating and enjoying the sound of the water. Overall a wonderful place to stay .we will be staying here again.
Loved our stay here. Lovely cabin on Bear Creek away from the crowds. We had easy access to Yellowstone and Gardiner. The best part was hanging out on the porch listening to the creek.
My husband, his parents, and I stayed at this beautiful cabin while we visited Yellowstone National Park. It was such a gorgeous, comfortable place to come home to after a long day of sightseeing in the Park. We loved the porch for barbecuing our dinners and enjoying the lovely view! Our family HIGHLY recommends this beautiful cabin while visiting Yellowstone.
Cabin was extremely clean and well prpeared for our stay. Great instructions on fireplace and grill usage. Loved the views from cabin and hiking trail just down the road. Would love to stay there again. Highly recommend.
This is our second time visiting bear creek cabins and are, again, blown away by the cleanliness, friendliness and accessibility to the park. Thank you Andrew and Julie!
It was the perfect location and perfect size cabin. The road going up to the cabin can get bumpy but it’s well worth the extra miles out of town. The view of Yellowstone as you travel from the cabin into Gardiner was also worth the extra miles.
Beautiful cabin with spectacular scenery, close to Yellowstone’s North Entrance.
The cabin was cozy with a comfortable mountain look and feel. Beautifully appointed with everything we needed to feel at home. The property managers have excellent communication skills and were extremely accommodating. We highly recommend Bear Creek Cabins to anyone planning to visit the Yellowstone/Gardiner area.
This was a great location for visiting Yellowstone. The cabin was very clean and had all the pans/untensils/grilling tools we needed. The cabin was exactly as the pictures shown on the site. There were 4 adults and we had plenty of seating inside and outside. The two king rooms are divided with the living/kitchen in the center which was nice.
Our family had a fantastic stay at Bear Creek Cabins recently. The cabin was beautiful, isolated from civilization but only a short distance to YNP north entrance. Very convenient. The cabin was fully furnished, clean and excellent quality. A gorgeous stream just off the back porch. The area was quiet but easy access to town. Very happy with our visit and would definitely stay there again.
What a wonderful spot. The sound of the flowing creek 24-7 sooo peaceful, watching the horses (maybe 20) come down to the creek for water, for this city family we could think of nothing better. The cabin was magnificent, we were lucky to find this retreat. We highly recommend it, bring your fishing pole, we didn’t.
Perfect place to stay with two couples, hiking trails within walking distance, Yellowstone park is just a short drive away. The nearby town of Gardner, MT is quaint. However, the restaurants are below average. The cabin is very clean and seems new plus has all the amenities needed. The road from Gardner to the cabin is poorly maintained, but you can see a lot of wildlife and beautiful views along the way. Great place!!
The cabin and amenities were top tier! King sized beds were comfy with great bedding. The kitchen was well stocked and the back deck over looking the river was absolute bliss. The only thing that would keep us from booking again was the road. While we have an SUV with 4WD it was so badly rutted we dreaded the drive to and from each day.We definitely will keep checking back to see if it is improved as we truly loved everything about the cabin.
Wife and grandson loved the cabin as did I. They especially enjoyed watching the neighbor’s horses each afternoon. Beds are very comfortable and cabin seems larger than the actual square footage. Dishwasher did not work so a minor glitch. Condition of road encouraged us to minimize our trips into town. Not unexpected this time of year I guess. All in all, very comfortable cabin with great amenities.
The Bear Creek Cabin was just what we were looking for, so neat! It was the perfect location for visiting Yellowstone for several days and surrounding areas in Montana. This cabin was so clean and had everything we needed. Our family of 6 had plenty of room. Beautiful place inside and outside the property! A rolling creek right behind the cabin was a bonus feature to listen to in the mornings out on the back porch! The north entrance to Yellowstone was only 5 miles away, easy access to park and small town of Gardiner. The hosts Julie and Andrew made sure we had everything and were easy to communicate with, definitely would stay here again. Wish we could have stayed longer!! Thanks
Just stayed at the most perfect cabin. We were in cabin three and we thought it was the best location of the three cabins. Our back porch looked at the creek and a pretty hillside. Such a pretty site to wake up to and the sound of the creek was so lovely. The last day we woke up to snow!
The rooms were a good size with each bedroom having its own bathroom.
Would like to have more towels and washcloths. We used the washing machine every day. All was very clean and the house had all the products we needed. Very good blowdeyer!
I can’t say enough good things about this incredible place! From the moment we walked in, it felt like home — warm, cozy, and welcoming in every way. The attention to detail is truly unmatched. Every amenity you could possibly think of was provided — from a fully stocked kitchen and ultra-comfy beds to fast Wi-Fi, smart TVs, plush towels, and even thoughtful extras like a Bluetooth speaker, and cozy blankets in the living room. The space was spotless and beautifully decorated, creating the perfect balance of comfort and style. Whether we were relaxing in the cozy living room, enjoying coffee on the porch, or winding down by the fireplace, everything felt peaceful and effortless. What truly set this stay apart was the host. They were so kind, responsive, and genuinely cared that we had everything we needed. Their hospitality made the experience feel personal, not transactional — more like staying with a friend who just happens to have impeccable taste and a five-star setup. We didn’t want to leave, and we’re already planning our next visit. If you’re looking for a place that feels like a warm hug with every luxury included, look no further. This one’s a gem!
We loved the cabin. It's a bit of a drive to get to it --- make sure you have the right vehicle if you're planning a winter visit --- but we saw elk, deer and a fox between the town and the cabin. The back faces a scenic hill with horses (also saw the fox up there) and a peaceful stream. My wife did not want to leave.
The kitchen has everything you need for cooking (though the nearby town has plenty of nice restaurants with outdoor seating if you prefer to experience that). Beds were comfy and we loved how everything looked.
The listing seemed to indicate the wifi was limited, but let me clarify: the wifi in the cabin and yard is great, never had a problem. Cellular service for your phone is limited once you get away from the town, so plan ahead (we learned we had to start our navigation in Google Maps or Waze and it would continue until we had a signal again). This is not something to worry about, as long as you plan ahead.
The cabin was perfect for two couples, each with our own suite. The back porch and flowing stream behind it were very relaxing and enjoyable. The road from Gardiner was quite rough but manageable.
