"My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it was truly incredible. So many amazing restaurants within a walkable distance, which we preferred since we didn’t have a car, and Whalers Village has a ton of great stores as well. Would absolutely recommend this resort to anyone and is extremely family friendly."
"It was so very clean, constantly saw people cleaning. If we hadn't had other plans to do things, we could have stayed at the hotel enjoying the beautiful pool and ocean views.
The front desk staff was very accommodating- we needed 2 double beds vs 1 king and they quickly helped us with that."
"Beautiful island very greedy resort. Beautiful view nice pool. Great people working on cleaning staff and bars and restaurant. How ever. If this place can get blood from a turnup as people say they would. Way to expensive for mayne a 3.5 out of 5 star resort. Very greedy resort. Workers once again are great. However the proces and charges are ridiculous. Yes, I can compare due to experience. Rooms need way more upgrades before they keep charging the prices they do. Once again. Workers are great especially the cleaning people/grounds people. Restaurant, bar great people also. Front desk are just doing there jobs but dang people. No, my wife and I normally family won't be going back. God bless everyone there amd good luck."
"Overall we were very pleased with our stay. The only thing was we did pay for an ocean view, which from the smaller bedroom you and from the window perfectly, however from the main balcony had to really step over to the one corner to see it. We found the vibe to be relaxed and peaceful.
We would recommend this hotel to others."
"Location, room size and staff are excellent. Beach and property well maintained and just beautiful. We did not use the pool as we did not want to fight for a chair - guests lined up before 8am to reserve chairs. Beach area and chairs were perfect."
"This hotel is very charming and old-fashioned in the best way. The rooms are spacious and modern, but the outside look and feel of the hotel is very quaint. The extremely helpful young woman at the front desk seemed to know everything about the island and was able to answer every question we asked. We were busy while we were there, so we didn't have a chance to use the pool, but it looked clean and inviting. We did use the laundry facilities (laundry detergent is available in the vending machine). Our room had a large bathroom (sink outside of the toilet/showr room but still separated from the bedroom), refrigerator, microwave, coffee set up, and very comfortable mattresses and pillows. The property is well maintained and quiet (well, except for the chickens, but they didn't really bother us and can be heard anywhere, any time in HI). We didn't have great cell service, but I realized too late that the hotel offers free calls to anywhere in the US, which is cool. The restaurant is closed, which is a shame, because it looks like it would be fun, and we would have liked an additional dining option. We would definitely stay here again if we have the good fortune to return to Molokai!"
"Do not pay extra for 1 bedroom Oceanview. All 1 bedrooms only have partial view. Paid extra $50 each night for nothing and when notified Expedia, I did not get my money back except $100 one key cash credit."
"I liked the location
Liked being on the 11th floor
I liked ease of getting towels for the beach but wish the hours were longer
I didn’t like that the umbrellas for the beach were at a price.
I didn’t like not having hot water for my shower three nights.
I didn’t like not having enough bath towels for our stay ( having to wash what we had to get fresh ones)"
